In 8th grade math, students have worked with Number Systems, Expressions and Equations, and Functions, and will be diving in to Pythagorean Theorem, Geometry and Probability and Statistics for the remainder of the year.

Science

With Ms. Estrada

In Science we have been learning about Astronomy and Non-contact forces! Students have studied the solar system, analyzed the planets, and created models of the solar system and Earth-sun-moon system.

I chose this assignment because I LOVE learning the facts about planets and their meaning.

Math

With Mr. Chun

There was no project or assignment for this subject but I can tell you, I kind of enjoyed the positivity of this class. There was a lot of comedy throughout the time and we had many laughs. This subject was most important to me because it made me think smart on how to solve challenging problems. Although I wasn't able to meet my math teacher in person, I would just want to say that I appreciate the hard work he put into this class.

Mr. Santana was a very amazing teacher. He was very patient with the class and I appreciate that. He made sure everyone understood what they're doing so I want to say thank you so much :)

History

With Mr. McDaniel

This class is a physical Education class. Throughout the year, we have been watching a video on many different workouts. We would workout at home. I have a doctors note because of my surgery, so instead i wrote essays on the basics of many different sports.

I chose this assignment because it involved a lot of typing and as you can see, I love typing since I got a new keyboard.
