What was your favorite part of this year? This could be about an assignment, a teacher, or a school experience.

Even though we couldn't be together this year, what is your silver lining of 8th grade?(Shout out to a friend, family, experience, or teacher during distance learning). 

Type here: My favorite part of this year was being in remote learning. It was a whole new experience and I adjusted really well. My favorite part was that i could see my family and dogs more and could eat warm fresh lunches. 

Type here: The silver lining of this year was that it got to experience something total new compared to the old school environment.

In English, we learned all about different types of writing, such as narrative and informative. We read a novel called "The Giver" by Lois Lowry and many news articles, some fake and some reliable.

I chose this project because this was my first project in this class!

In Science we have been learning about Astronomy and Non-contact forces! Students have studied the solar system, analyzed the planets, and created models of the solar system and Earth-sun-moon system.

In 8th grade math, students have worked with Number Systems, Expressions and Equations, and Functions, and will be diving in to Pythagorean Theorem, Geometry and Probability and Statistics for the remainder of the year.

I choose this assignment because it was the annotation lesson that described how to determine between fake news  

I chose this assignment because it was fun taking my own pictures for i can use them to do mathematical equations.

In P.E i learned how to play soft ball. We watched videos how to properly catch , trow, and hit a ball with a bat. 

I chose this assignment because we get this chart every week and it encourages me to work out.
