What was your favorite part of this year? This could be about an assignment, a teacher, or a school experience.

Even though we couldn't be together this year, what is your silver lining of 8th grade?(Shout out to a friend, family, experience, or teacher during distance learning). 

Type here: My favorite part of this year was the teachers, they really help us try to understand our work through this hard time that everyone is going through. They always encourage us to try our best and work our best. They give us many opportunities to help us through this school year.

Type here: I give a shout out to the teachers and my family for helping through this ruff year, even though we couldn’t be in person they helped us make the best of it.

In English, we learned all about different types of writing, such as narrative and informative. We read a novel called "The Giver" by Lois Lowry and many news articles, some fake and some reliable.

I choose binged-watching because I wanted to see if it can effect you in types of way that can include your mental health or if binged-watching is good for you.

1 sentence description of the assignment and why you chose it.

In Science we have been learning about Astronomy and Non-contact forces! Students have studied the solar system, analyzed the planets, and created models of the solar system and Earth-sun-moon system.

In 8th grade math, students have worked with Number Systems, Expressions and Equations, and Functions, and will be diving in to Pythagorean Theorem, Geometry and Probability and Statistics for the remainder of the year.

About the class... Dance class is a very fun class to express ourself through dance. We get assigned some projects to have a better understanding on our dance unit. We create routines with groups or just individually. We put some visual art into dance to create some wonderful work.
