Message from our Coordinator

pava parents,
our students and teachers are inspiring. when i see A student's assignment this year, I think of all the work that has gone into making that one snapshot of learning possible. the level of planning the teacher has gone through as well as the amount of focus and commitment the student demonstrated by completing the work on their own at home. this year has been a challenge for everyone, but Pava's effort to continue to bring meaningful, rigorous learning during distance learning has stayed strong. nevertheless, We look forward to the time when we can see all of our students in person and get to know them in the school setting. please enjoy this look at your child's learning. I look forward to meeting, talking, and laughing with all of you when we return to in-person learning.

For english, things I've learned in this class consisted of reading the outsiders and answering questions that follow. We also learned about different types of conflict charades.

My favorite assignment was the 2021 resolutions photo board it was such a fun assignment to do.

I chose this assignment because it was a really cool assignment to do and I got to express what I want in the year 2021.

English

Mr. Nakakihara

My favorite assignment has to be integer rules poster! It was basically where I had to make a poster about integers and their rules. It was a very fun assignment to complete. I chose this assignment because I was very happy I had the option to make the poster however I wanted.

This class is math and it's pretty self explanatory, but to name a few things we've learned I'd say properties of operation, evaluating expressions, and comparing rational numbers.

Math

My favorite assignment was the periodic hero project. We basically had to come up with a superhero that goes along with an element, I chose calcium.

This was by far my favorite thing we had to do in this class mainly because I got to choose my own element, which was calcium and it went with my idea perfectly.

History

I have learned about the life in the Americas, Chinese society, and life in Imperial China.

I chose this assignment because the whole writing concept was really fun experience. I basically had to write Rosa Parks and add important events as if I was in the timeline.
