Message from our Coordinator


pava parents,
our students and teachers are inspiring. when i see A student's assignment this year, I think of all the work that has gone into making that one snapshot of learning possible. the level of planning the teacher has gone through as well as the amount of focus and commitment the student demonstrated by completing the work on their own at home.  this year has been a challenge for everyone, but Pava's effort to continue to bring meaningful, rigorous learning during distance learning has stayed strong. nevertheless, We look forward to the time when we can see all of our students in person and get to know them in the school setting. please enjoy this look at your child's learning.  I look forward to meeting, talking, and laughing with all of you when we return to in-person learning.

My favorite assignment was the Guilty or Innocent paragraph for the outsiders .
I chose this assignment because I had a lot of fun while working on this with my group. I also liked working on this assignment because it was like I was a prosecutor in court.
Today in English class we watched our biography book report presentations . I learned about so many different people like Selena , Coco Chanel, and Aly Raisman .

My favorite assignment was the Integer Rules Poster
I chose this assignment because I really liked decorating my integer rules poster. I also liked making the poster because I as able to learn while having fun.
I learned about The Distributive Property in class. I also learned about the commutative property, the associative property , the additive property , the multiplicative identity , and the multiplicative property of zero .

My favorite assignment was the Periodic Hero Project.
I chose this assignment because I had a lot of fun making a super hero based off an element from the periodic table. I also learned what nitrogen was used for and made that into superpowers which was very fun.

My favorite assignment was the Native American inspired bird drawing .
In class I learned about Africa . I learned about Africa's government and religion. I also learned about the rise of African civilizations .
I chose this assignment because I liked learning how to draw the native american bird. I learned what different symbols, shapes and colors were used to make the bird.
