Message from our Coordinator

pava parents,
our students and teachers are inspiring. when i see A student's assignment this year, I think of all the work that has gone into making that one snapshot of learning possible. the level of planning the teacher has gone through as well as the amount of focus and commitment the student demonstrated by completing the work on their own at home. this year has been a challenge for everyone, but Pava's effort to continue to bring meaningful, rigorous learning during distance learning has stayed strong. nevertheless, We look forward to the time when we can see all of our students in person and get to know them in the school setting. please enjoy this look at your child's learning. I look forward to meeting, talking, and laughing with all of you when we return to in-person learning.

I LEARNED HOW TO ANNOTATE BETTER AND HOW TO understand different writing FORMS

I choose this assignment because I enjoy making decorating, and writing while I learn at the same time.

I CHOOSE THIS ASSIGNMENT BECAUSE I AM WRITING OFF OF SOMEONE THAT HAS A REALLY important message IN HER STORY THAT CAN GIVE A GREAT INFLUENCE TO People ALL AROUND THE WORLD.

In my math class, I learn that writing math notes help me study better for test and I learned how to figure out many new math equations that I have never interacted with before. I have learned the different properties of equations and I have learned tricks on how to make the equation more understandable and an easier way to solve.

MY favorite ASSIGNMENT IS TO TAKE NOTES WEEKLY BECUSE I ENJOY decorating them

I choose this assignment because I really enjoy learning what each element in the periodic table contains, and I like the creativity of this Project.

My favorite assignment was the periodic hero project

In class this year we have learned about health and now we are currently learning chemistry. In chemistry, we are learning to count atoms and we discuss the difference between chemical and physical changes. We are learning to balance equations. In the last semester, we learned about health and nutrition. We learned that we need to have some kind of physical activity daily. We learned how to portion our food and what we need to eat to be healthy and maintain a good balance. After that, we moved on to sex-ed and we learned about different STIs or STDs. When we finished that we learned about mental health and abuse of alcohol and drugs. We learned about different eating disorders and how they can lead to death or a serious injury.
Later on, we learned about relationships and friendships and how we need to communicate to keep a strong and happy friendship or relationship. We also learned about the human body and DNA, and different types of things you can find in blood and how your respiratory system works, and how blood and oxygen flow through your veins and arteries into your blood.

In class this year we have learned of all world history, we have studied ancient China, and India, and life of the early Americas, we learn about ancient Mexico and we read about their religion and beliefs, We learn about how they would produce food and how they lived their daily life.

I chose this assignment because I think that to the Native culture this bird was a symbol to them and it is part of their Culture.
