Message from our Coordinator

pava parents,
our students and teachers are inspiring. when i see A student's assignment this year, I think of all the work that has gone into making that one snapshot of learning possible. the level of planning the teacher has gone through as well as the amount of focus and commitment the student demonstrated by completing the work on their own at home. this year has been a challenge for everyone, but Pava's effort to continue to bring meaningful, rigorous learning during distance learning has stayed strong. nevertheless, We look forward to the time when we can see all of our students in person and get to know them in the school setting. please enjoy this look at your child's learning. I look forward to meeting, talking, and laughing with all of you when we return to in-person learning.

Last semester, we learned about theme and how to write paragraphs, etc. This semester we did a project about writing a biography for someone famous, which was one of my favorite assignments. We also are reading this book, which is called The Outsiders. This class is fun and helps me with my grammar and writing better.

I chose this assignment because it was challenging but I had fun learning about Amelia Earhart and writing about her.

Arcade Fun raiser performance task

I chose this assignment because It was interesting to solve and it was fun because it included arcade games.

At the beginning of the year we were going over things we learned last year and we learned integers, percentages and more. This semester, we learned about exponents, simplifying algebra expressions and distributive property. This class is difficult but I enjoy. Math is one of my favorite subjects.

I liked this assignment because it was simple, fun, and I was able to show some things about me.

Digital Locker

Last semester, we learned about the human body and how it changes, nutrients and how to maintain being healthy. We learned to keep being active and eat healthier foods. Later on in the year, we began to learn about chemistry. We talked about counting atoms, the periodic table, etc. We also talked about the difference in chemical and physical reactions. Chemistry is very interesting since there are so many things to learn about it. My favorite lesson we've done has been counting atoms. I enjoy it because it is fun, includes math and is easy. I enjoy this class because it teaches me about the world and how certain things happen. This class can also be challenging at times. Overall, I like my science class because it is interesting and fun.

History

Throughout the whole year, we have been learning about how people lived back then and their culture. We have also learned about different religions such as Christianity and Islam. It is interesting to see how different life was compared to now. It is nice to see how much we have improved as a humanity.
