Message from our Coordinator

pava parents,
our students and teachers are inspiring. when i see A student's assignment this year, I think of all the work that has gone into making that one snapshot of learning possible. the level of planning the teacher has gone through as well as the amount of focus and commitment the student demonstrated by completing the work on their own at home. this year has been a challenge for everyone, but Pava's effort to continue to bring meaningful, rigorous learning during distance learning has stayed strong. nevertheless, We look forward to the time when we can see all of our students in person and get to know them in the school setting. please enjoy this look at your child's learning. I look forward to meeting, talking, and laughing with all of you when we return to in-person learning.

I chose this assignment because it was super fun to do and even though i didn't know all the answers I felt like me and all my classmates had a fun time working as a team. This is also my favorite assignment because i learned a lot of different types of conflicts and how those different types of conflicts occur every day in my life and I didnt even know it.

I chose this assignment because integers are frequently used in relation world transactions. I also chose this assignment as my favorite because integers are very important because of how much we use them and if you don't know all the rules you won't be prepared for real world situations using integers.

I learned how to properly use integers and how to use and identify all the properties and how to use those in real life situations, too. Another thing that I learned this year is how to use algebraic expression in real life as well.

My favorite assignment...

My favorite assignment is my periodic table song Edpuzzle, to me this assignment was easy and exciting but at the same time very informative, it was super fun and I really like doing assignments like this.

This year in science with Mr. Herrera I learned what HIV/AIDS are I learned about sexual abuse I learned what an unplanned pregnancy is and also learned where a person under the age of 18 can get an abortion. In this class I also learned all about the periodic table and all its elements. Another thing I learned this year is what a good friend is and how a real friendship should work and what or how a friend should treat you. I also learned about abusive relationships are and how it identify it if it ever happens to you. I also learned about matter and how everything is made up of matter. I also learned the difference between kinetic and potential energy. Another thing I learned was how to find the difference in chemical and physical properties. Another thing that I learned in Mr. Herrera's class is how to count atoms and how many are in each element in the periodic table. Lastly I learned about electrons, protons and neutrons and what their purpose is and why they're so important.

In this class I learned all about how the native Americans lived and ask of the early people of the United States of America lived. We also learned about interesting topics like the black death and i thought that topic was very interesting.
