Message from our Coordinator

pava parents,
our students and teachers are inspiring. when i see A student's assignment this year, I think of all the work that has gone into making that one snapshot of learning possible. the level of planning the teacher has gone through as well as the amount of focus and commitment the student demonstrated by completing the work on their own at home.  this year has been a challenge for everyone, but Pava's effort to continue to bring meaningful, rigorous learning during distance learning has stayed strong. nevertheless, We look forward to the time when we can see all of our students in person and get to know them in the school setting. please enjoy this look at your child's learning.  I look forward to meeting, talking, and laughing with all of you when we return to in-person learning.

I didn't learn much, but I did learn a couple new words and some information about Vincent Van Gogh and my Mama Abby(grandma) because of projects.
My favorite assignment...
I chose this assignment because this helped me learn more about my family history and more importantly my Mama Abby(she doesn't like being called grandma). I'm really glad I got to do this assignment.

My favorite assignment
I chose the integer rules poster because I honestly had a lot of fun making it. It just gave me the opportunity to get somewhat creative with the poster and use markers, I love using markers.
In math class, I learned quite a few new things. I learned how to properly find the amount that a percentage takes from a number like in sales, like 50% off shoes or whatever. I also learned new types of math methods.

My favorite assignment...
I chose the periodic table hero because that was the assignment I had the most fun doing. For this assignment we had to make a hero based of one of the elements on the periodic table. I loved drawing my hero, I love drawing in general so that's also why. Also, I loved making the document colorful and nice to look at. (:
History
Comic Panel 2
with Ms.Rivera
My favorite assignment...
In history I obviously learned about famous history makers and important times in history about certain cultures. I learned lots about early Korean, Japanese, and Chinese culture. I also learned about early America.
