pava parents,
our students and teachers are inspiring. when i see A student's assignment this year, I think of all the work that has gone into making that one snapshot of learning possible. the level of planning the teacher has gone through as well as the amount of focus and commitment the student demonstrated by completing the work on their own at home.  this year has been a challenge for everyone, but Pava's effort to continue to bring meaningful, rigorous learning during distance learning has stayed strong. nevertheless, We look forward to the time when we can see all of our students in person and get to know them in the school setting. please enjoy this look at your child's learning.  I look forward to meeting, talking, and laughing with all of you when we return to in-person learning.

I learned how to take notes with different techniques. I knew how to do this before but with all the different techniques it is a lot easier. It comes in handy when you have to annotate a book, study for a quiz/test, and get information in a faster way etc.
My favorite assignment...

I chose this assignment because I learned a lot about my mom. I didn't know my moms immigrant story but I'm glad I do because it teaches me a lot about my family, where I come from, to be great full for what I have, and never take anyone/anything for granted.
English
I learned how to solve equations I didn't understand, with the help of Mr. N. He helps a lot and makes sure you understand the lesson. It was really fun to learn algebra, integers, etc.

My favorite assignment
The reason I choose this assignment was because it was a lot of fun to work on. It makes it easier to understand the lesson when you can put it in a way that you understand more. It also makes it look more presentable when it is decorated and has color.

My favorite assignment...
This was my favorite assignment because I got to learn about the element gold. It was fun to draw a character and make a story about her. I like to write, so making a short story was very fun. It was also a way to make learning more fun.

I learned about Life in the Americas. How the Maya hoped to solve the problem of drought, why the Aztecs might have chosen Montezuma to be their leader and the advantages and disadvantages of joining the Inca Empire?
