Message from our Coordinator

pava parents,
our students and teachers are inspiring. when i see A student's assignment this year, I think of all the work that has gone into making that one snapshot of learning possible. the level of planning the teacher has gone through as well as the amount of focus and commitment the student demonstrated by completing the work on their own at home.  this year has been a challenge for everyone, but Pava's effort to continue to bring meaningful, rigorous learning during distance learning has stayed strong. nevertheless, We look forward to the time when we can see all of our students in person and get to know them in the school setting. please enjoy this look at your child's learning.  I look forward to meeting, talking, and laughing with all of you when we return to in-person learning.

Comic Panel 1
with Mrs.Horowitz
Some things that I learned in English class this year would have to be how to write properly without getting off-track like I usually do. As well as upgrading my vocabulary just a little. The advice Mrs. Horowitz gave the class really helped me enjoy English a little more considering how it wasn't my favorite subject last year :))
My favorite assignment...
I personally enjoyed this assignment the most because the personality test was really fun to take considering how detailed the questions were. I have always enjoyed taking these types of quizzes which made it even more fun. I was really surprised with the amount celebrities' that had the same character as I did :)
English
Comic Panel 2
with Mr.Gee
What I learned in math class would have to be how to solve math problems. I have always struggled with them ever since grade school. Mr. Gee gave me the best advice on how to do that which helped a whole lot. Just his advice in general made me realize how much I need to improve in myself :D
My favorite assignment
I picked this assignment because I got to realize how hard it is to run a business while putting discounts in and all that. I was never really interested in all this "business" stuff but, now I'm curious how it holds up in the real world
Math
Comic Panel 1
My favorite assignment...
I chose this assignment because I really enjoyed every part of it. From creating my own periodic table hero to making up it's powers, it was all so fun. In the process, I even got to learn about the element I did which was very entertaining :D
(A recap of what I learned in science is located on page 10-11 :D)
History
Comic Panel 2
with Ms.Rivera
My favorite assignment...
What I learned in history class would be the connection between all the different empires all together. The things they all did in the past, their suffering, their accomplishments, all that. I learned that every empire is different in their own ways which makes them special :)
