Message from our Coordinator
pava parents,
our students and teachers are inspiring. when i see A student's assignment this year, I think of all the work that has gone into making that one snapshot of learning possible. the level of planning the teacher has gone through as well as the amount of focus and commitment the student demonstrated by completing the work on their own at home. this year has been a challenge for everyone, but Pava's effort to continue to bring meaningful, rigorous learning during distance learning has stayed strong. nevertheless, We look forward to the time when we can see all of our students in person and get to know them in the school setting. please enjoy this look at your child's learning. I look forward to meeting, talking, and laughing with all of you when we return to in-person learning.

During the years what we have done was read this book called Refugee. It was about different kids point of view's. We annotated and read along with others. Now we are reading a book called Outsiders. So far things are pretty rough.
My favorite assignment

I chose this assignment because it involved some of the things I would wanna complete during this year. It was a fun assignment to do and it was easy.
Teacher Name!: Mrs. Horowitz ( Achievement unlocked: Great English teacher!)

My favorite assignment
The Integer poster and the bitmoji class photo assignment was chosen because it was fun and I was able to explore more of my creativity and work with others.
I had learned that by taking notes on each lesson it would help me in the future when I have to review problems that I forgot how to do.
Teacher name!: Mr. Nakakihara (Achievement unlocked: Great Math teacher!)
Math
This problem was Easy!

My favorite assignment...
I chose this assignment because it took a lot of effort and creativity to do this. The fact that others got to present it was also a good way to see how creative other people are.

When I take notes from all the slides and all the information we have to write down I feel like its easier to help study and be able to understand things. Projects like the Periodic table Hero and the decorative school locker really tells more about your personality and creativity. We had talked about our bodies, substance abuse, and sexual development.

What I learned in class was that we are continuing to explore all types of histories from back then and comparing them to today. We learn about all types of culture and religion people believe in.
