pava parents,
our students and teachers are inspiring. when i see A student's assignment this year, I think of all the work that has gone into making that one snapshot of learning possible. the level of planning the teacher has gone through as well as the amount of focus and commitment the student demonstrated by completing the work on their own at home. this year has been a challenge for everyone, but Pava's effort to continue to bring meaningful, rigorous learning during distance learning has stayed strong. nevertheless, We look forward to the time when we can see all of our students in person and get to know them in the school setting. please enjoy this look at your child's learning. I look forward to meeting, talking, and laughing with all of you when we return to in-person learning.

I chose my integers rule poster. This integers rule poster helps me solve most math problems, and it has made me remember these rules by heart
In math I learned certain types of math that I can use in everyday life. For example I can use integers to help me solve quick math. I also learned how to find the exact price of an item.

Learning the periodic table was pretty hard, but being able to study them was really fun. In this assignment I was able to choose one and make a character out of it. This was so fun, that I have made several others after this.
History
with Ms.Rivera
In history I have learned about different parts of history in our world, that I haven't been talked about enough. I have had such a great time being able to walk through stories, as almost I was in the story myself.
My favorite assignment was the Black History Month letter. This project allowed me to research about a person who really inspired me and write a meaningful letter to this person. The person I chose was Ruby Bridges, and I couldn't be anymore lucky to have been able to write to her.
with Mr.Herrera
In science I learned how to solve chemical formulas. With many edpuzzles I have done through out the year, I have learned things from genetics, why the sky is blue, and even how straws work.

I chose my Picture Book Assignment:). This assignment allowed me to choose my favorite picture from a children's book and create a dance to it. I had so much fun being able to create a dance to my favorite children's book.
Throughout my 7th grade year has been some up and downs. There are moments were I am very frustrated, and some moments were I feel almost like I am floating. I love all my teachers deeply. I have always felt like school was my best friend. Though I may not always have the best grade I always have a good attitude.
