My favorite assignment...
This year I learned about research in books and taking notes. We took a deep dive into annotating and analyzing text to help us for projects and understand what we read.
I chose my immigrant assignment. I really enjoyed writing this and doing research. It gave me chance to learn more about my grandma. It was very nice especially because of the pandemic.

We learn a lot in this class, but to do most of the problems we learn rules, steps, expressions, and equations to complete them correctly.
Math
I enjoyed incorporating art into our math assignment. I remember completing this assignment and it was very relaxing.
My favorite assignment...
For the assignment below we had to write a story about a hero/supervillain with powers based on an element on the periodic table. We also needed to provide a drawing of our character.
Last semester our topic was health. At the begging of the year, we talked about nutrition so like the food pyramid. Then moved on to our body systems, where we learned about how we digest our food and drinks. We finished our last semester with sex-ed and substance abuse. After winter break we learned about unplanned pregnancies and HIV. Once we finished that lesson we started our new unit, chemistry. We started out by learning physical and chemical changes in materials. Then learned about molecules and atoms. This is when we started studying more about chemicals like the periodic table, balancing equations, and how parts of them work. After a couple of weeks of studying chemistry, we had our first test on chemistry and now we are caught up.
