Message from our Coordinator

pava parents,
our students and teachers are inspiring. when i see A student's assignment this year, I think of all the work that has gone into making that one snapshot of learning possible. the level of planning the teacher has gone through as well as the amount of focus and commitment the student demonstrated by completing the work on their own at home.  this year has been a challenge for everyone, but Pava's effort to continue to bring meaningful, rigorous learning during distance learning has stayed strong. nevertheless, We look forward to the time when we can see all of our students in person and get to know them in the school setting. please enjoy this look at your child's learning.  I look forward to meeting, talking, and laughing with all of you when we return to in-person learning.

Comic Panel 1
with Mrs.Horowitz
I've learned how to interpret poetry and understand what I am reading. I have also learned how to write down and express my thoughts.
My Favorite Assignment
For this assignment, I interpreted a poem form the Outsiders book. I don't really understand poetry but with the help of Mrs. Horowitz, I have found my own meaning to the poem. I now know how to break down a poem and understand its meaning.

With Mr. Gardner
In my math class we have learned how to powers, exponents, roots, percent's, tax, tip and mark up. We also learned about integers, distributive property, and how to subtract linear expressions. Mr. Gardner makes math really fun and I have learned so much.

My favorite assignment...
I loved creating my locker because I didn't get to go to school this year. It was very relaxing and I loved pasting the stickers.
