Message from our Coordinator


pava parents,
our students and teachers are inspiring. when i see A student's assignment this year, I think of all the work that has gone into making that one snapshot of learning possible. the level of planning the teacher has gone through as well as the amount of focus and commitment the student demonstrated by completing the work on their own at home.  this year has been a challenge for everyone, but Pava's effort to continue to bring meaningful, rigorous learning during distance learning has stayed strong. nevertheless, We look forward to the time when we can see all of our students in person and get to know them in the school setting. please enjoy this look at your child's learning.  I look forward to meeting, talking, and laughing with all of you when we return to in-person learning.

My favorite assignment...
I didn't learn that much what from I remember, but I learned on how to annotate, how to get to know people when your in breakout rooms, brainstorm, and just read.

Something about this assignment allowed us to show what were our new years resolution for 2021. Now that I look back at it and see all my goals, Some I have accomplished, some are ones that I'm still working on. It was just a fun thing to make.

In math, I learned what integers were, Algebraic Expressions Multiply factions, Adding & Subtract Mixed Numbers, Multiplying Integers ,Adding & Subtract like Fractions ,Subtract Integers ,Terminating & Repeating Decimals ,Divide Integers, and Adding Integers.

Why you chose this assignment
I choose this assignment because, it was just something exciting to do and something new. First ever virtual class picture, it was just cool to do.

My favorite assignment...
Write a summary of what you learned in class.
From what I've learned in this class is that we First got to decorate our own digital locker and then present it to the class. Then learned about Preventing an Unplanned pregnancy for a week. We then started doing a matter lesson about like materials, matter, properties, chemicals, physical vs chemical etc. After that we did our Quiz about States of matter (Energy/atoms), I'm pretty sure I did good on that test but it wasn't that bad at all. Then learned about formation of elements molecules, compounds, pure substance vs mixture. Then we had some time finish our Periodic Hero Project Rough draft Due with a Ed puzzle. After that we then started learning how to add elements and counting atoms. That was that part that was the most hardiest for me but, I got threw it.

We first started talking about Martin Luther King Jr and what he did for us, we then talked about the Sui Dynasty with also The Three teachings. We also learned about what really is the meaning of sketchnoting. The Rise and Fall of the Mongol Empire, Black history month, and the Three Kingdoms Time line.
Write a summary of what you learned in class.
I choose this assignment because it was just a pretty fun activity, it didn't seem like homework but this one really made me want to make more of my Samurai. I got to express myself and choose the designs, really liked this one.
