PHMS Open House 2021 8th Grade HASA(Student LED). 

This is an announcement to remind students about coming back to school for the second semester. This is a simple thing that shows that I can be fast and efficient when making an announcement for school.

Our historical journey covered the following: Coding, advertisement and announcement making, and Schoology maintenance

In Tech Crew we have supported the school through maintaining the Schoology groups and creating announcement for students. We also explored CS Discoveries and Tinkercad.

This is a simple website that has 11 lines of code to demonstrate what can be done in Code.org. Doing Code.org has helped in improving my typing speed overall.

This is a dog tag I made for my class. It was fun and easy to get an idea of using Tinker CAD to create this.

The assignment above is group work covering how solar and Lunar eclipses work. This helped me improve how I work with people overall and how I communicate with others around me.

Spring Semester: Non-contact forces, Seasons, Moon Phases, Evolution, Natural Selection

The assignment above is about why seasons happen. I started off with the wrong idea of how seasons worked and it showed in detail how they really did. I quickly grasped the concept and it was more than I expected.

This assignment above is about non-contact forces like gravity and static electricity. During this, we used a couple of simulations that were entertaining to watch and fun to use.

The fitness Charts are A good way to keep us active at home during the pandemic and have certainly helped me lose weight.

The fitness charts have improved my ability to move and endurance to the types of stuff I do.

The fitness charts are given every week for 100 points and are a big portion of our grade but easy to do, so we just have to do them in time for the week.

The assignment above is one of the questions from a quiz on The social reform. This was one of the fastest times I've taken a quiz and completed it 100%. it only took 9 minutes while i used to average 15 to 20 minutes on a quiz.

The assignment above is my Black History Month project. It is my favorite because it was a change to the discussions in class and also brought a lot of people that had a big hand in history but were overshadowed by the more popular people

I am proud of being able to now quickly do simple math in my head faster and I am now able to do more complicated equations in my head without a problem.

One way I have improved as a student is faster note taking through Cornell notes while keeping the notes detailed enough for me to understand how to do something after I go back to it for homework.

A favorite assignment of mine in math has been a booklet to help explain and practice factoring polynomials.
