One of my favorite assignments in this class was the Monkey's Paw project. This project was fun to complete because it incorporated both graphic design and writing.
Rounded Rectangle
In this assignment, we chose a person who we consider a hero and were assigned to write an essay on their heroic qualities. For my essay, I chose to write about Katherine Johnson.

Another favorite assignment of mine was finding the rhetorical appeals in the Taylor Swift song, "You Belong With Me". Although it was challenging, I enjoyed the process of analyzing the lyrics and discovering the rhetorical devices used.

Currently, we are learning about the history of graffiti and collecting evidence and information to write an essay about whether graffiti is art or vandalism. Here is an example of what we've been working on so far.
