Climate Change

Climate change is very scary and the reason it is scary is because it is getting hotter as time goes by. Climate change is very real because the weather is different from the past and also there is so much evidence of climate change effecting the earth. For example the glaciers are melting do to the heat and also polar bears and other animals that live there are in big trouble because there habitat is being destroyed. Another reason we need to do something is because climate change can be the thing that causes human extinction and it is very scary to think about but, it is a fact and scientist have been warning us for years but, the presidents that we have don't really do much about it.

Climate Change Policies

One of the policies that I read from this article is about local emission goals and they are trying to use things that don't cause climate change for example they want to change the carbon emissions. One of the main reasons this is one of the policies is because scientist have said that if we don't change anything by 2050 we are gonna face a lot of dangerous things that are gonna effect humans in a negative way. Another thing it warns us about is cars because people all over the world drive cars and it pollutes the world and it worsens the climate change. So the article is mentioning using electric cars because they don't affect climate change as much as regular cars do. I think in the future cars are all gonna be electric because it is way better than using a car that releases so much smoke and causes the world to get hotter. Statistics about climate change

I am on this website that is from Nasa and it shows some statistics about how climate change and how it is effecting the world. To start of with it shows how much the carbon dioxide has gone up and it says it is at 425 parts per million. After that it shows the global temperature and it is at 2.1 F since 1880. Then it shows the artic ice minimum and it is going down by 13.1 percent per decade. Also it shows how much the ice sheets are going down by and it is going down by 428 billion metric tons per year. This are scary statistics and this shows we have to start doing more about climate change.

Charities and organizations

One of the charitable organizations you can donate to, to help fight climate change is called GivingGreen and this is a organization that is trying to make a change and they teach you how you can fight climate change.Website:https://www.givinggreen.earth/
Another organization that is also fighting climate change is Coalition for Rainforest and what the do is they use the money to protect rainforest and this helps with climate change because trees help the earth and also there have been some rainforest that have burned down and it is bad because it doesn't help against climate change.
