English
With Ms. Wagener
In English, we learned all about different types of writing, such as argument and creative. We read a short story called "The Hitchhiker" by Lucille Fletcher and a novel called Percy Jackson and the Olympians, the Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan.

My dichotomous key
Why I chose this assignment it is because we had to find information about a god but we had to work together and we planned to do one slide each. Also we learned more about Ares the god of war.

My dichotomous key
We had to make our own dichotomous key and identifying objects.
In Science, we've learned about natural systems, living systems, cells, body systems, and much more.
Math
With Ms. Jenkins
Math topics include the following: GCF/LCM, rates and proportions, integers, expressions and equations, and statistics. If time allows, we get into basic geometry. We also do a handful of hands-on projects throughout the year.
Black History Mathematician
I chose this assignment because I needed to search info on a mathematician that did really good things in NASA and I loved working on it.

Ever curious about how choreographers get their inspiration? Well, you are in luck because currently we are learning about the world of Modern Dance and how using Pantomimes and gestures (real life movements) can be inspired into creating realistic dances. Who would have ever thought I can turn something as simple as brushing my teeth into a dance!?!
