I am proud of my Writing to My Future Self narrative writing assignment because writing is hard for me but I think I did a good job.
We have to complete a reading log daily. Reading every day has helped me become a better reader. It is also helping me get better at remembering and understanding what I read.
My favorite assignment was the "All About Me" google slide assignment. My teachers and classmates learned a little more about me.
The first semester of my 6th grade year at Patrick Henry was a little scary. I was nervous about going to a new school and having new teachers. I am more comfortable now. English is a hard subject for me but I like that we do our work together as a group. I like that we have a routine and schedule we follow. I always look forward to our weekly warm ups. On Tuesdays we check-in with each other to see how we are feeling.

Math is still my favorite subject. Even though it is getting harder, I'm glad I can still understand it. When I have a hard time, it helps when I can see an example of how to do the problem. I like when Mrs. Mejia goes over the problems with us.
