Fat Tuesday is the day before Ash Wednesday, observed in many Christian countries through participation in confession and acquittal, the ritual of the burning of the Holy Week of the previous year, ending the Lenten sacrifice, as well as eating pancakes and other sweets.

The Pancake Day is before the start of Lent.&nbsp;And it is celebrated by eating, as it precedes the beginning of the fast.
