Many people draw on the walls, In Ataco, there are many those arts and each one tells a story. There are many hand-painted wood carvings or woven textiles. Women often wear cotton head scarves and shawls with dresses or skirts and tops paired with sandals. Men wear cotton suits or shirts with jeans and a cowboy hat. Traditional footwear for men consists of boots or sandals.

There are natural disasters everywhere in El Salvador always happening. And there are many volcanoes in El Salvador, some of which erupted in the last century. El Salvador has 23 active volcanoes. The tallest is Santa Ana.

I met an amazing middle school student and she is my ePal. Her name is Reyna, and her family structure includes her mother, her little brother and her.&nbsp; Her favorite subjects are English and math. She likes to play basketball and piano, however she really likes music because music is undoubtedly the best thing in her life. Her favorite TV show is Grand Army. Her goal is to go to her dream college. I think many students’ goals are this too.&nbsp;

Her most impressive thing is to move to America, because she thinks America is easy to earn money and easy to find a job.&nbsp; Her greatest adversity in her life was when she lost her grandma. I think she must have a good relationship with her grandma.

El Salvador has 14 departments. El Salvador is a republic with three branches of government-legislative executive, and judicial. El Salvador has a developing economy based on trade, manufacturing, and agriculture. Difficult economic conditions and civil war in the 1980s and early 1990s caused many people to leave El Salvador.

In recent years, El Salvador's economy has improved. Poverty has been declining, too. Still, about one-third of the people live in poverty. Some do not have electricity or clean water. About 2 million Salvadorans live in the United States today. They send money home to family and friends in El Salvador.El Salvador's government has created many jobs in recent years.&nbsp;

El Salvador has the largest Salvadoran populations outside of El Salvador. In El Salvador, there is 1% of the population is black people, Chinese or other, 13% of the population is white people, and the rest 83% is Mestizo. Most Salvadorans are mestizo. That means they are descendants of both Spanish and Native American ancestors.

The mountains and the coastal plain have some forest. Many kinds of flowers can be seen from November to February, as well as water falls and farm harvests. El Salvador has less animal life than most Central American countries. Spider monkeys, anteaters, and mountain lions are among the animals protected in wilderness reserves. And other normal animals living in El Salvador are boa constrictor, coati, turquoise-browed motmot and tiger shark, etc.

She is studying at Fisher Middle School in San Jose, California USA. Her family tradition is to celebrate independence day. She is bilingual, which means she can speak English and Spanish. She wants to study in Fisher Middle School because she thinks this school is fun and education is better. Her parents won’t give her extra work but she said that her school’s homework is a lot.

She was born from El Salvador, in central America. The climate of El Salvador is tropical, temperatures are warm rather than hot. El Salvador is “The Saviour” means the saviour of Jesus Christ in Spanish.

The government pays for children to attend school for nine years. They receive free uniforms and school supplies. However, many families do not have enough money for school supplies and transportation.

Rice, beans and tortillas are the main foods in El Salvador. El Salvador’s people like to eat corn very much, and they always eat cornbread, beans and cheese. The popular dessert is tre leches cake. Soccer is a very popular sport here. They like to swim in the ocean and hike in the mountains too.&nbsp;
