Introduction
In this book, I will introduce the life story of an exceptional middle school student. I spent several weeks interviewing her and getting to know about her life. I also researched about her traditional and family culture, and where she is from. Her name is ........ Jazmin!!!!!!!!
On December 18, 2006, Jazmin was born in San Jose, California in the USA. In this rugged city, people are always busy working. Her parents lived and grew up in Guadalajara, Mexico. They moved to America for their children's education.
Jazmin is a Catholic American-Mexican. Her family has eight members, and she grew up with many siblings who inspired Jazmin a lot. Thanks to them, Jazmin grew to be a humorous and creative person. All the females in her family have long hair; down to their waist! This point is a characteristic of her as well. She likes to watch horror movies like Joker...
She is currently attending Fisher Middle School, and she enjoys her school life playing volleyball after school, taking math classes and interacting with her friends. Without her friends, she would not have been as bright and pretty as she is now. She is not very good at math, but she is making efforts.

Family Tradition
Next, do you know what is the cultural event in Mexico? Every year in November 2, surrounded by many Marigolds, she celebrates ‘Day of the Dead’, an important Mexican holiday as well as her family tradition, with her family.
They disguise themselves by wearing corpses and ghost costumes, while energetic music is played. Families welcome back the souls of their ancestors for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration.
In addition, in Mexico, people value family the most. 'Los Reyes Magos', a Christian festival, is held on January 5th and 6th. Jazmin is also a believer in Christ. This day is also an important event for her.

Jazmin makes a wreath-shaped sweet bread filled with traditional fruits for the day of Reyes Magos called "Roscoe de Reyes" and eats it with her whole family. There is a small doll in the bread, and Mexican people believe that whoever hits it has good luck for the year.
