Superheroes Storybooks

Right before going home, Zayn stopped Kai and thanked him for what he did. "You're really my superhero, this means so much to me! I thought there was no one who understands me but now they finally get it and I won't be afraid anymore." the kid said "What's your name by the way? I've never seen you before" "I'm Kai, nice to meet you! And you don't need to thank me, I think we're the ones who should thank you for being so patient and teaching us a lesson: that we should never judge someone we don't know."

One day, while Kai was walking to school, he noticed some older students crowding a little boy on the sidewalk. He walked over to see what was going on, but the kid told him that everything was alright. Thankfully, Kai knew better. He knew that something was wrong.

Kai got home exhausted that day from using his powers so much after keeping them hidden his whole life, but thankfully no one asked him how he managed to teleport and shout since they were all too busy thinking of how they could make Zayn forgive them. He decided he was going to make it a goal of his to keep helping people without telling them how, because knowing that he made someone's life better was more than enough for him.

Later that day, while he was in class he heard screams coming from the school yard. Knowing he couldn't just go out the door, he summoned all of his powers and focused so hard on getting there that somehow, he was magically teleported outside the school building, right in the middle of the fight.

Once there, he noticed that the kid screaming was Zayn, the same boy that he had helped earlier. Other students were picking on him once again, but this time no one was there to help, other than our one and only Kai.

He lived in a small, quiet town, but sadly it was not the most accepting place. His whole life, Kai has known that he was special, but never told anyone about it. He would always make the things happen that he focused on. One time he was so mad at someone for hurting a puppy that he wished they would slip and fall on a banana peel and guess what?! That's exactly what happened.

Everyone around him was now looking down, ashamed of how they've been acting and suddenly they all realized that their words and actions affected the people in their lives more that they could imagine. They all apologised to Zayn and to other kids that they had hurt and promised to start working on themselves to become better, more understanding people.

He asked the older guys to leave the kid alone and made sure he was okay before he left. Deep down, Kai knew that people were picking on the boy for his looks and for being different, but he found it so unfair!

And that's our story about Kai, the selfless superhero who just wanted to make the world a better place. A superhero doesn't need to wear a cape or tell everyone that he has powers, everyone can be a superhero if they have a kind heart. Do you think YOU can be the Kai in someone's life?

Honestly, Kai was so mad at how people were treating that little kid and millions of other people of different races, religions or genders that he really wanted to make a major change. For the second time that day, he used all of his power and shouted as loudly as he could until everyone in that school came out and gathered around him.

Most people thought that Kai was just like any normal teenager. Kai was a good student with really nice friends and a loving family.

You might be wondering why I've called all of you here. The reason is that you're all so mean that our school has turned into the worst, most unsafe space for its students, and that needs to stop." Kai said while everyone was looking at him "Why can't you just accept everyone around you and treat them fairly? Is that so hard to do? Do you think you're better than everyone else just because of how you look? Well you're not. We're all equal and we all deserve the same amount of respect as anyone else. Let's get along and be friends, I'm sure everyone would love that way more than arguing all the time"
