Open House

One of the cornerstone events that helps us in maintaining the home to school connection and showcasing our student's many accomplishments, is Open House. While we would prefer to host Open House in typical, in-person format, current circumstances don't permit us. Even though our school buildings have been closed, your children have continued to learn and shine. On the following pages, you will find wonderful examples of the work they have produced this year during virtual learning. We hope that you enjoy seeing and hearing about the assignments highlighted. The seventh grade STEM team thanks you for your endless support and patience in what will undoubtedly, be a year to remember.

I am proud of being able to keep up with the lessons and being able to learn new ways and techniques to problem solve questions.

One way I have improved as a student is being able to manage my time a lot better than the beginning of distance learning and keep up with the lessons. At the beginning of the year it was very difficult for me to keep up and catch up because distance learning was very new to me, but now I have gotten better at catching up and knowing what’s going on.

A favorite assignment of mine in math has been the integers test because even though it was a bit challenging, it made me feel like my work paid off after all.
