Roy the runner came up to the lemonade stand and said, "Hi kids can I have one glass of lemonade." "Sure it will be 50 cents," Ruby replied giving him a glass. "Thank you," Roy said as he walked away.

"You're welcome it was so fun to do and we love animals," they all said.

"I will bring the lemonade," exclaimed Jessica. "Okay, I will bring the cups," suggested Luke as they walked to the playground. "And I will get the table from my garage," said Ruby.

They spotted the donation box and put their money in it. "Hi kids thank you for raising some money now we can keep even more animals in here," a man said that worked at the shelter.

The bell rang.<br/>We better get going. "How about we sit together at lunch and share our ideas?" asked Jessica.<br/> "Sounds good," Luke and Ruby said.

"Yes it is a lot of money how about we take it over to the animal shelter tomorrow," replied Ruby. "How about we meet at the animal shelter at nine o'clock?" asked Jessica.

Now there was a line up. They even had to make more lemonade. But it was getting late so they had to stop.

"Yes, when should we do it?" questioned Jessica. "How about Saturday," suggested Luke. "Yes we should also do it at my house because it is closest to the shelter," said Ruby as the bell rang.

"Well I thought we could do a lemonade stand," suggested Ruby. "That's a great idea," remarked Jessica. "Yes we should start planning!" exclaimed Luke.

It was now Saturday. Luke and Jessica were walking up to Ruby's house. "Hi," said Ruby as she and her Mom were pulling a table.

They came inside and counted up their money. They had made 50 dollars. "Wow that's a lot of money!" exclaimed Luke.

They were finished setting up the lemonade stand.

All money will go to helping the animal shelter.

"I saw an animal shelter being built," replied Ruby. "Yeah me too and my Mom said that they need some more money to expand it," said Luke.

Next came Mrs. and Mr. Jones. "Hi, I will take two," Mrs. Jones stated. "Okay, here you go that will be one dollar," Jessica replied.

Now it was Friday and Ruby said, "See you guys tomorrow." "Okay sounds good," exclaimed Luke. "Good bye," remarked Jessica.

"That's what my Dad said too so I was thinking that we could help raise money," exclaimed Ruby.

The animal shelter needs more money and Luke, Jessica and Ruby want to help raise money. How will they do it?

The animal shelter raised so much money they built an even bigger animal shelter than they had planned.

"Hi guys, guess what I saw yesterday?" asked Ruby. "What," said Jessica setting down her backpack.

Now it was Sunday and Luke, Ruby and Jessica walked into the animal shelter.

Then Mrs. Thomas came with her twins Tony and Tina. <br/> "Hi can I take three?" Mrs Thomas asked. "Okay here you go that will be one dollar and fifty cents," replied Jessica. "Bye," they all said.

"Hi guys, did you think of any ideas for raising money for the animal shelter?" asked Luke.
