January 2022
Happy January Everyone! As attested by our recent bouts with ice and snow in some places winter is in full effect. Personally I'm a fan of winter but that's just my New England roots coming through. I hope you are all rested, health, and had a wonderful break.
This month I've got a few odds and ends for you from the world of EdTech.
There is a lot going on right now between NJSLA Fall Testing, early behind the scenes preparations for Spring Testing Season which will include that new Graduation Exam the NJGPA (New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment), and round 2 Observations happening in most buildings people sure do have their hands full.
With the popping in and out of virtual instruction I also wanted to remind you of our resources available to help in that domain.

Fixing Chalk's Schedule
Chalk's Planner Schedule Adjustments
There are multiple ways to fix your calendar in Chalk's Planboard.
When an unexpected off-day occurs, at the top of the day's plans there are options. These include making the day an off-day. If you select this option it will take out the day as an instructional day. If your calendar setting is properly set up to cycle correctly after off-days no further correction will be needed.
If your account is not set up to adjust you can "Realign Rotation" and fix the day. This will correct the day cycle. To permanently set your account to adjust to off days correctly click on Planboard -> Planboard Settings -> Lesson Settings then correct the off0day setting adjustment.
If you simply need to move lessons from one A-day to the next A-day, for example, click on the options for that lesson and select the move right arrow.
