Practice Sets are Coming!
Coming soon to Google Classroom - New Feature
Practice sets are AI-powered by Google and provide adaptive practice to your students on topics where repeated practice is useful. Not only that the new feature will function by giving very powerful guidance and support automatically as students progress. The teacher will receive very helpful data that will show what students need the most support in on a topic. The system looks like it has been modeled after similar products but with a twist that instead of providing every student the same support or help when a question is answered incorrectly Google's AI explicitly targets the student's weakness and provides support aimed specifically at that.
It will be available, according to Google's documentation, to our specific level of Google subscription. When it is released we will take a deeper dive. If we get invited into the beta, I will let you all know.
Check out the two videos to the left for more. The first is the official trailer, the second is an in-depth interview with a member of the development team.

Schedule Multiple Classes at Once!
Now when you are scheduling an assignment in Google Classroom you have the ability to customize the schedule to each class that is receiving that assignment in one spot. The short video above from ShakeUp Learning demonstrates the process.
