The Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was a protest by the Sons of Liberty in Boston, Massachusetts in 1773
Sixty Patriots in costumes boarded the ship, which brought lots tea to Boston. They threw all the expensive tea into Boston Harbor while hundreds of people were watching.
The British were very upset and because of that they decided to punish Massachusetts. They ended self-government in the colony and closed the harbor of Boston
