This is Singapore
The flag of Singapore was adopted in 1959 because that was the year that Singapore became a self-governing country within the British Empire. It remained the national flag to celebrate the country's independence from Malaysia on August 9th,1965.
The Singapore's flag consists of red that stands for universal brotherhood and equality of man. White stands for everlasting purity and virtue. The crescent moon that represents a young nation and lastly, the five stars represent what Singapore is all about: democracy,peace,progress,justice and equality.
The national anthem of Singapore is
"Majulah Singapura" ("Onward, Singapore").
