Icarus and Daedalus lived long ago in Ancient Greece. Daedalus was put in jail for helping the King's wife. Icarus was imprisoned as well.
His father made a set of wings, they're made from feathers and wax.

Leonardo Da Vinci was a famous painter and inventor. He was one of the first to invent a flying machine called the Ornithopter.
Leonardo obviously had an amazing mind but believe it or not he never went to school!
