The next day, Mrs. Pack the Party Planner called and announced, 

So, Officer Stanley rode in her red car to Mrs. Pack.

When Officer Stanley showed up, she saw the cutest small brown and white dog sitting in the neighbor’s yard.

That same day, Mrs. Crowe the gardener called and declared,

So, Officer Stanley rode on her purple bike to Mrs. Crowe.

It was just a kitten in the hay loft!

Luckily, Officer Stanley was there to save the day.

She built him a little spot in her office. She got a dog bed and a jar of treats for her desk.

Officer Stanley realized that she had grown a strong bond with Bo.

She felt she needed a partner in crime, a police dog, a companion.

So that night she made the big commitment to Bo and adopted him.

This book is dedicated to the hardest working woman I have ever met, my Mom.

There once was a police officer named Officer Stanley. She worked very hard to keep the town of Birdieville safe. She was so busy that when she had breaks she became lonely. People would call her all the time for help.

One afternoon, Mr. Poppy the pizza maker called and exclaimed,

&nbsp;So, Officer Stanley rode on her blue scooter to Mr. Poppy.

The crust of one of the pizzas was on fire!

She even bought a sidecar for Bo on her yellow motorcycle.&nbsp;And she was never lonely again.

Officer Stanley decided to take care of him for a bit, so she took him home.

That night, she gave him a nice bubble bath and cleaned him up and watched the movie,&nbsp;Cinderella.

The brilliant, bold, beautiful, bubbly, Bo.&nbsp;

The next morning, Officer Stanley took the dog for a walk and named it BO.
