Skippy's Spectacular Shopping Trip

Skippy and his mom went to the 1st aisle. Skippy grabbed 1 jug of marvelous milk off the shelf and put it in the cart.

Next, he grabbed 2 bags of colorful carrots off of the shelf across from the milk and put it in the cart.

Skippy's Spectacular Shopping Trip

Skippy and his mom went to the 3rd aisle. He grabbed 5 beautiful biscuits and put them in the cart.

Next, he got 6 ounces of fantastic fruit punch from the shelf below the biscuits and put it in the cart.

Skippy and his mom went to the 2nd aisle. Skippy grabbed 3 pounds of tasty turkey and put that in the cart.

Then, he got 4 amazing apples from the shelf next to the turkey and put it in the cart.

Skippy and his mom went to the 4th aisle. He snatched 7 mini perfect popcorn bags and put them in the cart.

Then Skippy grabbed 8 delicious donuts from the shelf above the popcorn and put it in the cart.

Skippy went to the 5th aisle and grabbed 9 excellent eggs and put them in the cart.

Skippy checked the last thing on the list. He grabbed 10 wonderful watermelons from the shelf. But, as he reached for the last watermelon. SPLAT! It exploded on the floor. Skippy was upset. He thought he had ruined the shopping trip. He thought the world was going to end!

"Skippy! We are here!" his mom said. Skippy grabbed the shopping cart and headed into the store.

Skippy and his mom paid for the groceries,

Skippy's mom came up to him and gave him a big hug. "Skippy! Everyone makes mistakes! On my first shopping trip I dropped a whole box of eggs," Skippy's mom said. Skippy realized that he would make a whole lot of mistakes in his life, but mistakes are what make you better.

Skippy and his mom went to the grocery store to get stuff for a party. Skippy wanted to help his mom with the shopping. He was bouncing off the walls!
