Plip Plop! Plip Plop!
Giana hears the water droplets slowly as they descend off her favorite orange and green polka-dot umbrella.
Grammy is walking with Giana on the sidewalk to her first day of Kindergarten. Giana is scared and skittish as strawberry syrup about to be slurped up threw a straw on Sunday. She does not want to go to school not one itty-bitty bit.

As she slowly walks leisurely in the pouring rain, she can see the of the school. Woah! There was a big sign that was soaked with rainwater. The sign said, “Welcome to Welches Kindergarten”.
“I don’t want to go to this school” shouts Giana.
Then before she knew it, she was right outside the stairs that led up to the school. Grammy bends down and gets close to Giana’s face. Grammy says “Giana, trying something new can always have a good outcome”.

Giana and Grammy march through the doors of the school. Giana sees the door of her new classroom. She hears laughter and kids chatting to their classmates. With sudden inspiration and confidence, she one step at a time walks into the classroom. Then she stares in awe of what she sees. At some point Grammy left her in the classroom but she does not realize.”
Hello! You must be Giana! My name is Mrs. Motivator and I will be your teacher for the year.” Says Mrs. Motivator.
“Pick a seat and we will begin class in a moment.” The classroom is as colorful as a circus. There were kids already sitting in seats. Though her favorite part of the room was the Easels in the back.
