Dear Nancy and Tessy, Amber and I are truely sorry for steeling your berries. We already were greedy and have eaten all of the berries. We don’t have money, but we would be able to pay what we owe off by wurking in your shope.

Stacy and I are very sorry for triyng to steal your acorns. You taught us a very important lesson: Stealing is never the right solushion. Can you please forgive us? P.S. We can work at your shop tomorow

First, they walked a mile to go to Tessy’s Freshy Fresh Berries...

Amber and Stacy greedily enjoyed their huge supply of berries for the next two weeks straight. All they did was eat. But half way into the third week, they ran out.

“You think we need to go back, Amber?” Stacy wondered. &nbsp;“Yes, we should, but let's steal from Andrew’s Awesome Acorns,” Amber replied.&nbsp;

A bowl of gooey, sticky slime! He threw it at thieves and they gave a weak shout before they became stuck to each other. They lost grip of their stolen goodies and they went flying. “That’s what you get for stealing from my shop,” Jasper said. “Don’t ever do this again or I’ll report you two to the police.”Jasper threatened. “Yes, we won’t do this again Mr. Jasper, we promise,” said Amber.&nbsp;

Stacy and Amber returned their acorns to Jasper with their heads bowed down. Amber and Stacy didn’t like feeling ashamed for their actions. They were sad and disappointed in themselves.&nbsp; They walked back miserable with nothing to eat. 

Stacy and Amber could have saved up for acorns in the summer instead of watching television all day. Deep down they knew it wasn’t a good idea in the first place.

“Stealers! Get back here you little thieves!” Jasper angrily called.

“Argh!” they grunted. “This-is-so-heavy!” they said at the same time.&nbsp; And then Stacy collapsed, and then Amber collapsed!

By the time they fell, Jasper was out from behind his desk. He had a little surprise for them…

They ran out of the store grunting and panting as they tried to heave the bag back to their house.

“Hey, come back and pay!” Nancy, the store clerk shouted in frustrated manner. Her agreement with the owner was that she could work and get a free meal. The squirrels stole so much that she now wouldn't be able to eat for two days.

&nbsp;She tried to catch them, but it was too late.

“Hello!” a store clerk named Jasper said. “What can I do for you today little furry buddies?” he asked.

&nbsp;“May we have twenty pounds of chocolate acorns,” said Amber with a smirk on her face.&nbsp; “We also would like fifty pounds of hazelnut acorns too, please?” said Stacy.

“Wait, how will we carry all of it,” Stacy whispered to Amber.&nbsp; “I don’t know but we’ll think of something later.” she responded.&nbsp; “Wow, that is a lot of acorns,” said Jasper.

After around five minutes, Jasper came back struggling to carry all the acorns. “Here you go little guys, fifty-five dol-” Stacy snatched the bag out of his hands and attempted to take off running with Amber.

From now and for the rest of their lives, they never broke their promise. Before Winter, they collect as many berries as possible instead of watching cartoons.

We will never be naughty squirrels again!

It was wintertime in Oatsville and two twin squirrels named Amber and Stacy were wasting their afternoon watching Spongebob. They were both nine years old.

They lived a simple life together with just enough food for both of them and a comfortable place to live.

But they were not satisfied with just enough.

They wanted more. So they decided to steal.

Dedicated to my two dogs who inspired me with their mischievous and funny personalities.

So they woke up bright and early the next day and started on their journey to steal from Andrew’s Awesome Acorns.

This time, the hike would be five miles and they would be stealing even more acorns than berries.

STOMP! STOMP! STOMP!! went the sound of their feet. And finally they arrived at the store.

“Hello sweeties,” the store clerk named Nancy said. “What can I do for you?”

“May we have five pounds of blackberries?” said Amber.&nbsp; “Can we have ten pounds of strawberries too?” Stacy added.

“That’s a lot of berries.” exclaimed Nancy.

Then she went to the back of the store to give the two twins the berries. “Here,” she said, bending over and handing them the large bag. “It’s fifteen dollars and tw-”, before she could finish her sentence, Stacy, with the help of Amber, lunged for the heavy bag.
