Why Do Dogs Bark.

There was a little dog named Lily. She was very shy but she was very curious. One day her mom told her to never go into Hufflepuff’s house.  Hufflepuff was the town's worst, meanest, smelliest wizard you could imagine.  His house was full of weird magic potions that could put a spell on you right away.

Lily was cautious of Hufflepuff’s house.   Lily went out on a walk around town with her Dad. 
Dad said, “I will be right back, stay here.” 
Of course Lily did not listen.  She wandered off to nowhere.
“Help, is someone there...help me,” she yelled at the top of her lungs.  But she got lost in the woods.  Lily did not hear anybody's reponse.

Lily kept on walking until she found a strange looking house. The door was wide open and it looked inviting to her so she went into the house to see what it was all about. Lily wanted to look around but she knew it was not safe. Lily kept looking around and she found viles and kept looking. She went all around and did not see anyone. She went into the back of the room and she saw a wizard!

Do you mean "vials"?

Lily said, “Hi!”
But the wizard didn't answer. 
Lily said to herself quietly “What a waste of time”
And then the wizard woke up and said,“this is not a waste of time”. 
He rose up and spooked Lily and she ran as fast as she could out of the house and in the woods. 

Lily said to herself, “few I lost him.”
This dog was not normal, this dog could climb up trees and land if Lily jumped off. Lily was still calling for help and saw her mom, and boy was she excited to see her. 
Her Mom said, “What are you doing out here at 6:00 in the night?”

Mom was mad but then Lily ran off in the direction of the wizard's house. Lily was scared to go to the house. Just then the wizard came out and dumped something on them. They started making this weird sound.
‘WOOF, woof, WOOF”
‘WOOF, woof, WOOF”
‘WOOF, woof, WOOF”
The sound keept coming out, and they could not stop it.

At first they didn't like it but then they loved it. Lily liked it so much she called it barking. Then they went back to show everyone. They all loved it so they all went to the wizard and got their bark.

Were they talking like humans before and now they can only bark? Or can they still talk?
