Eagle flies around the mountain to the lake he was looking for. Why he chose this lake is because none of the fish were in schools. So he goes to grab his fish. But then Bear comes out of the woods and says, “my fish.” Bear grabs the fish from Eagle. Eagle soars upward and dodges Bear.

As Eagle starts to see dawn approaching, he chooses to take the short cut because he does not want to get in trouble with his mom and dad. So he cuts through the mountains. As he glides through the mountains he sees a fragment of light glinting out of the corner of his eye. In a second he realizes that it was Vulture. It was too late Vulture was already on his tail. ‘’Vulture stop!’’ Eagle yells. He weaves in and out of the rocks. Eagle scrapes his head on the rocks. ”No Eagle,” shouts Vulture.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! Eagle finds a small cave and darts into it and Vulture is confused. So he darts into his perch looking over the cave. “Come out come out wherever you are, Eagle,” Vulture says loudly. Eagle is wounded so he stays in the cave until dawn. In the morning Eagle bolts out of the cave but Vulture wakes up quickly and is on him . Eagle scrapes off the last feathers on his head. Then Eagle darts back to his nest where his mom and dad are waiting and worried.

Eagle’s stomach gives a big growl. Eagle slowly wakes up out of his state of sleep. He thinks that he should go grab a quick midnight snack from the lake.
