Why Killer Whales Eat Turtles

Once upon a time there was a turtle named Pepper. She always bragged about stuff. She lives in the ocean with her Mom and Dad and the other turtles and her best friend Joey the Killer Whale.

She lived in the ocean.

In the middle of the night she snuck out to go see a concert. After the concert when she got home she looked at the stars in the night sky. While she was doing that Joey scared her almost to death! Pepper went inside carefully without making a sound and went to bed.

The next day Pepper went to go show Joey her new shoes.
“Hey Joey, look at my new shoes. I bet you can't get them,” said Pepper.
Since Pepper did that Joey chased her all around the ocean and finally Pepper reached land and so she was safe.

Then the next day. When Pepper thought it was safe she went back into the water. But Joey CHOMPED Pepper into shreds! All the turtles saw it, even her Mom and Dad.
All the turtles screamed “run run run run run run run run run run run, said all the turtles!”
So all of them ran away. They reached land by sundown and the next day they thought it was safe so they went into the water and they got CHOMPED into pieces! Joey was full.

I thought they were best friends. Why did he eat her? If that one killer whale was mad at the turtles does that mean all killer whales will be in the future?

And that is why killer whales eat turtles!!
