Alicia is most known for her songs Fallin' and Girl on Fire. She has won 15 Grammy Awards, 17 NAACP Image Awards, 12 ASCAP Awards, and 1 award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame and National Music Publishers Association.

Bessie Colman
Bessie Coleman, actually named Elizabeth Coleman was born on January 26, 1892, in Atlanta, Texas. Bessie Coleman is famous because she was the first female African American and Native American pilot. Bessie Coleman is most known for doing loop-the-loops, making the shape of an 8 in an airplane, and going upside down. Bessie married Claude Glenn in 1917. Bessie died because of her un-fastened seatbelt, when the plane flipped over Bessie Coleman fell out of the plane.
