The person I researched was Harriet Tubman. She was born in 1822. She was a slave. She rescued 70 people. She fought for rights of slaves. She escaped in 1849. She made 13 trips back to help people escape. 

The person I research was Louis Armstrong. Louis Armstrong said to himself What a Wonderful World. He was one of the most popular jazz players. He played for 50 years. He changed the course of jazz.

The person I researched was Muhammad Ali. Muhammad Ali was a professional boxer. He was born in 1947. He lived with his parents and brother. Muhammad Ali won a lot of matches. He was famous because he said "don't quit suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion." A fun fact about him is he began training in a boxing gym at the age of 12. When he retired from boxing in 1981 he focused on activism. 

The person I researched was Serena Williams. Serena Williams was born in 1981. She was a very famous tennis player. Serena has a sister that plays tennis too. She is a champion at tennis. In 2012 Serena Williams won her fourth Olympic gold medal. 

The person I researched was Rosa Parks. At 19 Rosa Parks got married on December 1, 1955. She was put in jail because Rosa Parks refused to move on the bus. She did not give the seat up on the bus. Rosa Parks helped change laws. She did not get the seat because it was not fair. 

The person I researched was Cornelius Washington. Cornelius Washington was born in 1898. He did tricks with the garbage cans he did good tricks. Cornelius Washington flipped garbage cans. He cleaned up the city after a hurricane. 

The person I researched was Jackie Robinson. He was born in January. Jackie was a pro baseball player. He played for the Kansas City Monarchs. Jackie was the first African-American to play MLB baseball. He was in the army. Jackie died in 1972. 

The person I researched was Molly Williams. She was a firefighter. She was born in 1918. She was an enslaved woman. Molly Williams was the first female black firefighter. She was owned. Known as volunteer number 11 by a New York City merchant. 

The person I researched was Bessie Coleman. She was the first female black American pilot. Bessie Coleman picked cotton. She was born on January 26th. Bessie Coleman loves to fly. She was Brave she was the first female pilot. She loved reading. Bessie Coleman loved science. 

The person I researched was Maya Angelou. Maya Angelou made seven books. She was a poet and an actress. Maya Angelou was the first African American to make a best-selling book. She one dozens of awards. Maya Angelou was a dancer and she had a brother named Bailey.

The person I researched was Louis Armstrong. Louis Armstrong was a famous musician and he loved playing trumpet. He was good at playing. He played for 85 years. He sang lots of books. He sang so much books that he was so good. 

The person I researched was Bessie Coleman. She was the first female black American pilot. Bessie picked cotton. She was born on January 26th. She loved to fly. She was Brave. She loved reading and science.

Louis Armstrong changed the course of jazz. He had a way of getting. A famous song and making them his own. He died from a panic attack. 

The person I researched was Serena Williams. Serena Williams was born in 1981. She was a tennis player. Serena Williams was alive in 2017. She was a champion at tennis. Serena won 23 Grand Slam singles. Fun facts: in 2012 she won her fourth Olympic gold medal.
