E.E. Cummings was a poet born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on October 4th, in 1894. The E.E. in his name stands for Edward Estlin.&nbsp; He had traditional New England values like pride and hard work. &nbsp; E.E. went to Harvard College. During WWI, he was an ambulance driver in France.&nbsp; As a poet, E.E. used lower-cased letters.&nbsp; He wrote over 2,900 poems. One of his most famous poems was called “pity this busy monster”. He also liked to paint. E.E. Cummings died on September 3rd, 1962.
