Biography Unit 21-22

Rosa and Raymond worked with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.  The black people had to take a test before they voted and Rosa helped people pass it.  Rosa did not give up her seat when a white person asked her to.

Rosa stopped segregation by not giving up her seat on the bus because she stood up for herself and other Black Americans. Rosa proved that if you believe in yourself, you will make a difference in the world!

My name is Mariabelen. I am 8 years old and my favorite color is purple and my favorite food is cupcakes. I love school.  My favorite subject is math.  I have very nice teachers and so many friends you cannot even count.  My teachers say I am a very sweet girl.  My birthday is on May 26th. That is all about the author.
