Anne Frank was born on June 12, 1929. She lived in Frankfurt. She died when she was 15. Her family was Jewish.

Anne Frank grew up during hard times. There was a bad German leader named Hitler. He hated Jewish people. She moved a lot trying to get away from Hitler. She couldn't even go to school. She kept a diary. Her diary was made into a book.

Anne Frank had a small family. Her dad's name was Otto. Her mom's name was Edith. Her sister's name was Margot. Her dad was very funny.

Anne Frank was a brave girl who taught us about the war. We celebrate her because her hopes and aspirations for the future were never to be realized.
