Season 2: So Luke called his manager to see if they would take him back. He started back with the second team. He was playing very badly and he had missed several open goals until he took a shot from the halfway line and scored. After that goal, he was playing miles better and was scoring every match. Not only that but Steven Kenny gave Luke the call-up for Ireland. With all of Luke’s success, Manu paid him enough for Sofia’s surgery and flight to America. The operation was a huge success and Sofia was all fine after it.

After the death of Luke’s father, he decided to quit football and go home to his family. To make matters worse&nbsp; Sofia was getting more and more ill. The doctors told the family that the only way Sofia would survive was if they got an operation in America. The cost of the operation would be huge and the only way they could possibly fund this was for Luke to play football again.

Thankfully she was all okay. Luke went back to Longford for his next match. They drew to Stant F.C. to add a point on the table. When the season was over they placed 16th. They were on fire!

Season 3 A couple of years later Ireland made it into the World Cup and the final. The final was against England. Ireland had a very bad start conceding a goal in the 5th minute to England. Then England got another in the 43rd minute. At this point, it was 2-0 for England. Luke got Ireland a penalty in the 63rd minute and banged it top right! Ireland's hopes were slowly coming back. Then Luke dribbled through the whole English team. He went up to the keeper and chipped him! It’s&nbsp; A&nbsp; GOALLL!! It's 2-2! Oh my God! He’s scored he has done the impossible! Ireland is going crazy Ohhhhhh!

Luke started playing for a small local team. The team's name was Brenam F.C. They were going very badly in the league with only three points in five games. One day a scout came to look at their match and in that match Luke played very well. The scout was very impressed and invited him to a try out for Longford.

Then Luke was dribbling and he was caught by the leg. It’s a free to Ireland in the 95th minute! The free is just outside the penalty box. He steps up, one hit off the ball, the little boy from Ireland, all his hopes and dreams to win the World Cup for Ireland. Ireland is on their toes! He shoots! HE SCORES! 2-3 to Ireland! He’s done&nbsp;it all! My word! He is the next Messi! He is the next Ronaldo! He is everything. The full-time whistle blows and Ireland wins 2-3! It’s all over for England! It's done. Luke steps up the stage with his captain badge on and he lifts the trophy. Ireland has won their first-ever World Cup but not their last with Luke. After that Luke went home to the graveyard to pray and tell his dad everything. Later that year he met Michael D and Roy Keane to show them the World Cup.

One day a kid called Luke Best was born. He loved to play football his idol was Roy Keane. He lived in a very poor area in Ireland. He was extremely good as he was fast and he was good at doing skills. His dream was to meet Roy Keane and win the World Cup for Ireland. When he turned 12 his mom had another child. It was a girl and her name was Sofia. She was born with a very rare heart condition.

About two weeks later the results were back and he had made the team. He was playing very well at Longford but the team was bottom of the table. They were nearly relegated but Luke saved them with a last second goal. But at home, it was going very bad because Sofia had collapsed and was rushed to hospital.

Season 1 Luke was even given a chance to go play with Leeds under 20s, so he took the contract. He was having such an amazing season that Manu even decided to buy him. When everything was going great a shocking event happened. Luke’s dad passed away in a car accident but to this day people still think it was something else.
