The state is organized by a system of separation of powers defined by the constitution. It is divided into three branches, legislative, executive, and judicial, which are dealt with in the TBMM.&nbsp; 600 deputies are elected to the parliament. Members of Parliament each represent a constituency for a five-year term.&nbsp; Each city is represented in the TBMM by MPs whose number is determined by the city's population. Çanakkale is represented by 4 MPs from two political parties in the parliament. Parliamentary and presidential elections are held on the same day. The Constitutional Court consists of fifteen members. A member is elected for a twelve-year term and cannot be re-elected. Members of the Constitutional Court must retire when they reach the age of sixty-five.

Was the population helpful and mobilized to move things forward ? The population was separated into two groups at the beginning. The ones that respected the measures and the ones who didn’t like them and therefore didn’t follow them. Many people still gathered and had large parties although it was forbidden. After some time, the population started to accept these measures which helped in stopping the spread of the virus. Its thanks to everyone’s efforts that the measures taken worked. What has the crisis taught you about the world you live in ? At the beginning of the pandemic, we were young and didn’t think much about it. We believed it would just go away. But after some time, as we grew, we realized how lucky we were to live in such a developed country. The government took measures to help us stay safe. We also realized how much technology and science helped in stopping the virus.

Wednesday March 11, 2020 Dear Diary, I’m very sad today because the schools are closed for 1 week. I won’t be able to see my classmates and my dear teacher for 1 week.&nbsp; My mother come to pick me up after school.&nbsp; On the way home by car,&nbsp; I realized that I forgot my favorite toy at the school. When I wanted to go back and get it, my mother didn’t hear me the first time, she was very fussy but when she did, she got mad at me. She said we don’t have time to go back. &nbsp; I was very angry with my mother so I started shouting. My mother wanted talk to me when I got home and told me to tell her but I wanted my toy.&nbsp; When we finally got home, my grandmother cleaned the whole house there was strange smell in the house. My mother said that the reason for the smell was bleach.&nbsp;It was the first time since my grandmother moved to us that I saw her cleaning like crazy. Later I was eating, my mother sat next tome and started talking to me like a teenager, I liked it very much.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; My mother said I won’t go to school for a more than a week. The reason was an illness that came to our country and it could make me sick. I was so scared.&nbsp; &nbsp; If it could make me sick, it could make everyone sick, what about my dad? He is my hero and other children because he is doctor. My grandmother came to us and said that my dad would not come home for a while and that he would help other people. I’m a little sad that I won’t be able to see my dad.&nbsp;When my dad calls I'll tell him that I miss him so much already. Byeeee Diary ☺

Was it/ and is it still an advantage to live in Europe in Covid times ? Why ? We believe that it was and still is an advantage to live in Europe in such times. We think that because Europe is an extremely developed continent with extremely powerful countries that are full of extremely skilled people. In many European countries, healthcare is free and funded by tax payers which means that if we evet get sick or catch covid, we can be sure that we can go get treated correctly because its free unlike other countries like America where healthcare is a privilege. We cannot imagine how hard it must have been in underdeveloped places like Africa or India.

March 11, 2020 Until today we were talking and joking about this virus a lot with my friends.&nbsp; But I never expected it to come out in our country.&nbsp; They say it’s really very dangerous.&nbsp; This worried me too much ut since there is only one case in our country I think it will end quickly. I talked to my English teacher today.&nbsp; She told me that schools could stay closed for more than a week.&nbsp; This was good news, but when I got home in the evening.&nbsp; I saw that it wasn’t like that. &nbsp; they would also take very strict precautions.&nbsp; My mom and dad also decided to stop things for a while.&nbsp; The worries and fears both passed an to me.&nbsp; My mom said these cases could be more.&nbsp; This scared me more and things got mixed up. Schools are closing tomorrow.&nbsp; I probably won’t see my friends for a long time.&nbsp; That’s why I want to spend more time with them tomorrow.&nbsp; Although it’s nice that the schools are closing I hope this illness ends quickly.&nbsp; I hope that a large number of people will not have to die because of the disease and I hope everything will be fine soon.

Another group from 4ºC formed by Leyre, Vikka, Dylan and Blanca translated the President's speech from the 13th March and then wrote an editorial about it : Translation of president Sánchez speech in which he announced the beginning of the lockdown and the state of emergency. Pedro Sánchez, the president of Spain yesterday said : “In an extraordinary cabinet we decided to decree the alarm state in all the country for 15 days. This is the way in which our government faces a very extraordinary crisis like all the world is suffering now. The sanitary and social emergency caused by the coronavirus creates extraordinary situations like this. We have scheduled a meeting for tomorrow to think about new extraordinary decisions to do during the alarm&nbsp;state.

“Combating misinformation and disinformation, especially during a pandemic is a civic duty that requires everyone's involvement." Andy Carvin, senior fellow at the Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab), April 23rd, 2020 The outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) was accompanied by a large amount of misleading and false information about the virus, especially on social media. This made it hard for people to find trustworthy and reliable information when they needed it. This spread of misleading information about the virus led the World Health Organization (WHO) to warn of an on-going “infodemic” or an overabundance of information—especially misinformation—during an epidemic.

In this chapter, pupils will be asked how they got informed during the pandemic. They will also work on the documents from the excellent&nbsp;Social Media Pack from the UNESCO site&nbsp;: <a href="https://justpaste.it/redirect/6xbnw/https%3A%2F%2Fen.unesco.org%2Fthemes%2Fgced%2Fthinkbeforesharing">https://en.unesco.org/themes/gced/thinkbeforesharing</a> Then, they will learn how to separate fact from fiction with different documents published in the USA as well as in their respective countries. They will also see how The World Health Organization worked with Facebook, Twitter, and other social media companies to stop misinformation.&nbsp; They will also discover that Fact-checking groups studied stories that popped up on the internet to see if they were real. In any case, they will get to know some things they can do to avoid misinformation : - How to check the source - How to act like a journalist - The importance of pausing, false news traveling faster than real news.

Famous landmarks in Madrid Plaza Mayor The origin of the square is in the XVI century where the first market started and when the king moved the court to Madrid the square as we know nowadays started. The project started in 1590 and finished in 1619. Museo Nacional del Prado The project was finished in 1819. It belongs to the Neoclassic architecture. It is considered to house one of the world’s finest collections of European Art with works of art from the XII to the XX century.

Puerta de Alcalá (Alcala’s Gate) It is one of the five old Royal Gates through which pilgrims from France and Aragón got into the city.

Palacio Real (The Royal Palace) The Royal Palace in Madrid is one of the largest ones in Western-Europe and it is also one of the largest in the world with an extension of 135 000 sq and 3418 rooms (nearly double in size than Buckingham Palace or Versailles) Felipe V of Spain had the Palace built in the same site of the old Royal Alcázar which was mostly destroyed by a fire in 1734.

What has this crisis taught about the world you live in ? The pandemic was a phase of our lives when we could take the chance to reflect about what we were lucky to have, and not to take anything for granted. There were lots of examples, and any person would think about their own ones, but for us, the most important were : the time we could spend with our families ; the fact that we learnt to entertain ourselves without the need of going out ; many people took advantage of the amount of spare time to learn new recipes, meet new friends through social media, read books, and even more. We also thought about how the pollution decreased during the lock-down. That fact made us think about the way we pollute our planet, and we also realised the need of reducing the pollution all over the world even though we’re not in a lockdown anymore. We also could see how in hard times the European Union, the governments of our countries and the all the people in general worked together to overcome the problems and get back to normal as soon as possible.

What has been the biggest change in your country and in Europe ? In our country many things have returned to the normality as the use of masks, the need of sanitizing our hands regularly, etc., but there are also things that are not as strict as they were, but they still have to be kept in our minds. For example, the use of masks is still obligatory in hospitals and chemists, and in some homes for the elderly it’s compulsory, to keep elderly people away from diseases. We’re happy that now we’ve learnt how to live our normal lives despite Covid-19.

VAHİT TUNA ANADOLU LİSESİ Our school was founded in 1983 with the name of Çanakkale Anatolian High School. In 1990, General Directorate of the National Lottery, built new school buildings all around Turkey, including our school. In 2011, after the big earthquake in Van, a province in the Eastern Anatolian Region of Turkey, all schools were named after the teachers who were killed during the earthquake. Vahit Tuna had attended high school in our school and was teaching in Van during the earthquake. Thus, our school was named after him. He was only thirty years old when he died.

Food and drinks from Asturias

Fabada is made with fabes de la Granja (a kind of large white beans from Spain), lacón (shoulder of pork) or panceta, morcilla (a kind of blood sausage) and chorizo.

Sidra (cider) It is a very important part of our culture and region. Apple harvesting begins in November, we clean the apples and then crush them to obtain the juice. Thisdrink is so popular that festivals are even held for it.

Madrid Madrid wasn't animportant city until Felipe ll changed the capital from Toledo to Madrid in1561. Most of the inhabitants were foreigners, soldiers and pilgrims.&nbsp; The real court attracted lots of Spanish artists so Madrid turned into the literary and artistic centre of Spain.

18th Century Madrid participated in a war that was caused by the death of Charles ll, who had no children (war of succession). Then Louis XlV of France sent his grandson, Philip to Madrid to turn into the king, who asked for palaces and buildings (Palacio Real de Madrid). Philip was the first member of the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Bourbon">House of Bourbon</a> to rule as King of Spain. In 1808, Madrid was occupied by Napoleon’s troops. It finally regained independence with the help of Wellington after a five years War against the French.

Spanish Civil War of 1936 in Madrid The civil war was heavy felt in Madrid. It was also a stronghold of the Republican faction from July 1936 and became an international symbol of anti-fascist struggle during the conflict. The city fell to the Francoists in March 1939. Current situation of Madrid Now Madrid is presided by the mayor Jose Luis Martínez-Almeida Navasques. Madrid is one of the most important cities in Europe and all over the world because the culture and the food.

Branches of government in Spain The Spanish constitution (October 1978), which declares Spain as a constitutional monarchy, also outlines the separation of powers into the executive, legislative and judicial branches.

Executive The executive branch is composed of the prime minister, vice president, and the king. The Prime Minister, who is the head of goverment, is Pedro Sánchez, leader of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE) The Vice President, and Minister of the President's Office, is Nadia Calviño, who helps Pedro Sánchez to lead the coallition goverment with another party, PODEMOS. The King, Felipe VI, is the Head of State.

First, find out who has written the article. → Is this written by a real person with a long history commenting on diverse topics or a fictitious-person created by an internet troll who targets conspiracy theories&nbsp;? Then, ask yourself where the article has been published. Can you find the same information from another source, a more reliable one ? Reinforce core facts in the main text, using verified information. Warn about related conspiracy theories circulating before referencing them. Avoid cynicism but be skeptical. Be Web Literate. Fact check everything.

Turkey is a peninsula connecting the continents of Europe and Asia. It is a country with a long history. Our country has eighty one provinces. Our capital is Ankara. Turkey is a touristic country. There are many places to visit. People can have fun here. People are very welcoming and helpful.  Our  food is very delicious. Our economy is not very good but it is cheap for tourists. Our country has fought corona well and the number of cases is decreasing day by day. Turkey's doors are always open to you !&nbsp;

There are&nbsp;978 students in total studying at 4 grades (9,10,11,12) and 75 teachers in our school. There are three science labs, an art room, a music room, a sports hall, a library, a canteen and a dining hall in our school.

"We really liked working in a group. It allowed us to get closer and have fun together. &nbsp;We loved it and found it super interesting especially as the Spanish groups were very invested in their videos and set the bar high for us. We were also surprised when we saw the Turks' comics&nbsp;; they were very beautiful and some deserved to win the vote for the best comic. It shocked us to know that so much misinformation had spread in their country. Though we didn't communicate with our Romanian partners, we could discover them on their presentation videos. They produced nice written materials anyway. It's really pleasant to work with students from other countries. It allows you to know other people’s cultures and lifestyles or even to see how they are able to respond properly to something as dire as a health emergency or a pandemic. We found it interesting to know that though we live in different countries, some ways of doing things are the same. For example, each president of each country said rather the same things to warn us about the virus. When we turn the pages of the e-book we have created all together, we find it amazing&nbsp;! Working all year long on this project was definitely worth it. All our work is gathered in this book and thanks to it, we will never forget what we learnt about our partners and the way they coped with the pandemic. They are part of our lives now and it was a real pleasure to share this moment with them."

Dear Diary, &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Back in the days, they announced that some virus called Corona has started to spread out. It's so scary that people are dying so quickly. We all became paranoid. Do I have virus on my hand? Should I wash my hands again? Are there any ill people here? Should I wear a second mask? How long was I there? Was that room refreshed before I came in? Can I go out today? It's better not to, right?.. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; It's so stressful to live with this… Day by day, ill people become more faithless about living. Some people say there is no such thing called Coronavirus. Some people say humanity will end with this. Some are joking and some are having health problems without being ill. All people I’m seeing everyday I wake up are my parents and siblings. I'm out of my mind already. I even would meet up with the ones who are annoying me the most… &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; We can't find anything at the shops. The prices went high suddenly and the things we buy aren’t that worthy to buy anymore. Everything became harder to find. I don't want to think about how bad are poor people and the homeless. They'd be suffering more than anyone. You're homeless and you’re ill with Coronavirus… Just… one thought makes me feel terrible… &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Why is it happening? Why do we have to live these? Just because some people ate bats? It's not fair… I don’t think it's fair. Younger people after this period of time will be… like… stupid! They won't know anything about their jobs because they studied from home… Surfing the Net while having online classes… I know because I did that too… You can't deal with it. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; It will be so hard for the whole world to pick everything up after this. I wish… everything could be the same as it was… I wish for the good to all people who’s suffering with illness… And I wish it to end without any bad things happen…

Political ties with European Union The European Union is the natural framework for the political and economic development of Spain. Spain has had economic and political ties with European Union since 1970 and became a member state in 1986. In 1999, the country entered the Eurozone as one of its first members ; replacing the peseta with the euro, which remains the country’s currency.

Competences&nbsp;and skills the pupils will gain through this project&nbsp;:

The project is aimed at&nbsp;developing skills that are necessary in everyday life : language skills, social skills, learn to learn, initiative spirit and cultural skills. Our pupils will communicate authentically. They will have to discuss about an unprecedent crisis they all went through and they will learn about the consequences it had on the lives of people their age in other European countries. They will also learn about the way this crisis was dealt with in different European countries and they will be able to draw comparisons. In the meanwhile, they will discover new countries and new ways of lives and they will become more enlightened citizens. This type of project should motivate them and it will help them learn from one another (peer learning). It will also encourage their creativity as they will have to make a comic and Break The News videos and do some creative writing. They will also learn how to use new digital tools. This project will inevitably make learning meaningful. It will develop team-building skills, mobilize collective intelligence and give our pupils digital skills incredibly useful for their future working lives.

HISTORY OF ÇANAKKALE

The first settlements in Çanakkale are thought to be founded nearly 6,000 years ago but we don't know much about those first inhabitants. Greeks, Lydians, Persians, and Macedonians took control of the area which we call Çanakkale today.  However, Troy is the first place in Çanakkale that comes to most people's mind while talking about ancient history. The  Museum of Troy was among the Time Magazine's '100 Places You should See' list in 2019.

These decisions will be orientated to mobilize all of our means to protect the health of our citizens, economic resources and health resources in a better way to shield our citizens, particularly, the weakest people coping with the virus and also, to respond to the social and economic emergency as fast as we can. We want the maximum coordination of the resources we dispose of. The Spanish Government assures the protection of all the citizens and guarantees the best life conditions to stop the pandemic as fast as we can. Now Spain is trying to reduce all of this but a major part of the Spanish economy in Spain is based on the tourism and all the airlines will stop and all the country will be hermetic, a lot of business will fall, they are a lot of disconfirm of the increase price of the mask and the high price of the PCR to travel to other countries, and a lot of Scientifics and medics predict this do not will stop with those measures, based on what happen in other countries, the anticipated vaccine that will stop all they thing that will late like a one or two years, until that day anything will stop.”

Editorial comment : After all this the people get in panic are very discontent by the president’s words.&nbsp;There are people protesting because this extreme measure will stop the economy off all the country and they will get all prisoner in their houses, and there is the other part of all, the people who think it is too late to declare the state of alarm because now they are 117,710 confirmed infections and 10,935 deaths. The government is planning to stop the impact in the economy with facilities to the workers and economy support of 200.000 million of Euros, around of the 20% of the GDP of Spain in economy helps, increase the investment in health, give tools to education and industry to work in home and help businesses. Maël, Mila, Selia, Loris, Esther, Mattéo and Elias have been working on the French Presidency and the French Government. They have also taken a special interest in the making of laws and The two Chambers. France is a democracy, which means that its people vote to elect a president. Today, the president is Emmanuel Macron. He can stay in office for 5 years and be re elected twice in a row. He has to make sure that all the laws are voted accordingly to the constitution. He represents the country. He ensures the normal functioning of public authorities and the continuity of the State. He makes sure the country remains independent towards the other countries. He is also in charge of the army.

There is also a Prime Minister chosen by the President. Today, our Prime Minister is Elisabeth Borne. She chooses the ministers. She coordinates the actions of the government and makes everything go according to plan.

A lot of scientifics and doctors predict the pandemic won’t stop with these measures, based on what has happened in other countries. Besides, it will take from one to two years to have a vaccine that will stop the virus. Then, these four students created a newspaper page :

In France, we use famous and important people for the name of a school. Our school was named after Henri de Toulouse Lautrec because his mum lived in Château Malromé near Langon. He is buried in Verdelais, near Langon. Henri de Toulouse Lautrec was a famous French painter, draftman, lithographer, poster artist and illustrator.

French group The pupils who didn’t have a sports competition worked in groups on Wednesday, March 9th, to compare the way the pandemic was announced and the people’s reactions. Here is a summary drawn up in class on the following week :

The annoucement of the Covid-19 pandemic was different in each country. So was the reaction of the population. In the three countries who are still working on the project, the pandemic was announced in March 2020, but on different days. In France and Spain, the annoucement were made by the Presidents and it was boadcast live on TV. In Turkey, it’s the Health Minister who announced it.

White Capes united to fight the invisible !

Pablo, Miguel Bejarano, Miguel Pañeda and Martín, from Spain answered these questions :

Was the crisis well managed in your country ? We think that the crisis in Spain was well managed, because, even though people were locked at their homes, we all could still get food supplies from supermarkets, thanks to lorry drivers and shop assistants, who still had to work during the pandemic, even more than before.

What worked ? What went wrong ? In Spain, many of the measures taken worked well. For example, the use of masks in streets and in all enclosed locals, was very well maintained by most citizens. As everyone was worried about getting infected by the Covid, it was very usual to see people taking a lot of care about their health. In our opinion, none of the measures taken during the pandemic were a total disaster, but for example, in our Autonomous Community, Asturias, we were locked not in our homes, but in our councils, and many people didn’t pay much attention to that restriction and they left their councils likewise.

Was the population helpful and mobilized to move things forward ? Thanks to the help and collaboration of the citizens, pandemic turned out to be a success. People took special care both of their own and the others’ health, wearing masks when told, washing their hands appropriately, etc. Our country was also very strict when we couldn’t exit our councils, or our Autonomous Communities. Many people who still had to work during the pandemic made an enormous effort to keep our country up, and not letting us down, and we are talking about doctors and nurses, lorry drivers and shop assistants, as well as police officers and firemen.

Then, they will make a list of fake news they read or heard during the pandemic. And they will disclose them to their partners. Some pupils will also make a kahoot for their partners who will have to decide whether the statements are true or false.

Finally, a chart entitled "Learn how to be a digital detective" will be created.

Of course the masks at first were somewhat annoying but after a while we got used to them and we even customized them and treated them like fun fashion accesories. However.... The Quarantine still hit all of us really hard.... Isolation, lack of activity and the constant bad news (2020 – 2021) seemed to strike the population making many people gain weight.... Lose motivation... Be separated from family and other relatives..and even worse lose hope. Eventualy the Quarantine ended but it still affected us rather badly. Some lost contact with their friends and had no reason to socialise anymore, some became too used to the routine and couldnt fully break out of set routine... And some after such a hard year just gave up. At least by 2023 Covid was essentialy defeated. Cases where dropping. The effects were losing power, the masks were no longer needed and people started to socialise again, regaining back lost hope, activities and finally, putting that disease behind us where it belongs. This is my opinion and Experience with the virus and its effects on us frankly is both a hopeful and tragic event for me. As while yes some people died but we still managed to defeat and vanquish the disease. So at least there's hope that next time when a new virus apears we are more than ready for it.

THE OUTBREAK OF COVID-19 IN TURKEY

Our educational establishment can accomodate about 800 students. Our principal is Mrs Ronne and the vice principal is Mr Lavigne. In our school we start each day at 8 AM and we finish at 5:10 PM except on Wednesdays as we have classes only in the morning. We have different options like Spanish, Italian, Latin, Euro English ( → That’s us&nbsp;! ), Euro Spanish, golf, climbing and rowing. Some of us are in a drama project. All our holidays last 2 weeks except the summer vacations which last 7 weeks. We have different activities and events during the school year such as clubs (reading, sports, board games ...). We also celebrate the National Day of Spain (October 12th), Halloween, Christmas, St Patrick’s day, Europe (European week in May). The school also organizes school trips abroad.

THE GOVERNMENTAL SYSTEM IN TURKEY

The Republic of Turkey was founded in 1923, which means that we are going to celebrate its centennial in September 2023. Turkey is a unitary state with a multi-party system and representative democracy. In the Turkish political system, citizens are subject to three levels of government : territorial, provincial and local. The President is directly elected by the people for a five-year term. The President cannot be a candidate again after two terms (10 years). The current president of Turkey is Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Oviedo: our capital city !!!!!!! Oviedo is Asturias' capital city. It's located in the centre of the autonomous community, and it has about 220.000 inhabitants. It is the second biggest and the second most populated city in Asturias.&nbsp; You can find there the Gothic Cathedral, some lovely parks, lots of shops, museums, restaurants...

The World Health Organization (WHO) Country Office in Kazakhstan and the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Kazakhstan released “White Capes : Fighting the Invisible” children’s comic book to showcase the importance of preventive measures for infectious diseases in mid-March 2020. The book features the White Capes squad, consisting of four scientist-superheroes, who introduce WHO’s recommendations on public health and social measures (PHSM) regarding COVID-19 in an understandable and entertaining way for kids.&nbsp;&nbsp; As the squad is entrusted with a mission to stop the Corona King, they explain how and why people should wear face masks, regularly wash their hands, keep physical distance, and ensure ventilation in closed spaces.&nbsp;

In France, there is also a parliament which is composed of two chambers : the Senate which is the “upper chamber”, and the National Assembly which is “the lower chamber”. The National Assembly makes the laws and the Senate gives its opinion on these laws. But the Assembly will always vote the laws and will decide if they will be enforced. The people in charge of voting the laws are the “members of parliament”. There are 577 members in total, each one is in charge of a constituency and was elected by the population.

11/2019 &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; There's some kind of communication between humanity and animals that is important now. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; It's about health and problems. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Health is good but I’d prefer it to stay away from problems. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Well, I found out something so terrifying. The number of ill people is going up. And they are all have the same illness. I think there's a contagious disease. The symptoms shows that this disease is all about lungs and respiratory. A roaring cough, never ending high fever, dry nose, having problems with breathing… It should be kept in control or it would spread out to the whole world. I messaged my colleague and they tried to share it as possible… Now China says I’m lying… You know, it… kinda hurts when you need to be taken seriously but no one believes you. Even so you keep going because something you give up now might cost everything in this situation. I. Am. Not. Giving up. Listen or not, I know the truth. This is real and if it's not handled it will turn into a literal pain. Now all China’s saying to me is, “Keep on living! We're celebrating, pal!” All I heard was this. It's just not to cancel the celebration, I understand- okay well good but let's take some precautions, shall we? My only request, and my very first step, is to tell people this so they’d feel like they should take precautions… &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Maybe I can raise some awareness around my close area. I have to make someone believe me. I feel like this sentence became my motivation now. I have to make someone believe me so that I may rescue&nbsp; at least one life.

What part has the EU played in the control and the management of the pandemic ? &nbsp;The EU has played a big part in the control and management of the pandemic. Firstly, the EU and its members are working together to reinforce national healthcare systems and limit the spread of the virus. At the same time, the EU is coordinating the response to get rid of the socio-economic impact of Covid and help the recovery of European countries. EU leaders agreed in March 2020 on four priorities to guide the EU’s emergency response to the pandemic : limiting the spread of the virus, ensuring the provision of medical equipment, promoting research for treatments and vaccines and supporting jobs, businesses and the economy.&nbsp; Has this common ordeal created stronger links between young Europeans like you ? It really depends on the person but to us, it has not. During this crisis, we didn’t really communicate with teenagers from other countries, we mostly spoke to our close friends or family. This ordeal, however, could help us create bonds with other Europeans. Just as now. We are talking about it and it could potentially create new friendships.

How the different partner schools have chosen to work&nbsp;:

We have chosen to work on six different themes. The different groups’ work is gradually put on the pages of the TwinSpace and then added here in this book. We spend about three weeks on a theme. The different tasks are shared between different groups in each class involved. The teachers communicate by e-mail (E-twinning group) or on WhatsApp. They also have online meetings.

How responsibilities are shared :

Each teacher as well as the pupils enabled to administrate the TwinSpace can edit the pages and download documents. Only the teachers can edit the e-book on Book Creator. The pupils can do it in class only and they are supervised by their teachers.

ANKARA, CAPITAL CITY OF TURKEY

We've heard that most people think Istanbul is our capital city. It's true that Istanbul has an important role in history and present, and yes, it's a beautiful city with its historical sites, city design and its view of the sea. But it's not like that, Istanbul isn't our capital city. Our actual capital city is Ankara, where the first council was set up : First Grand National Assembly. Also it's where the founder of Turkish Republic, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was buried. He's been buried to Anıtkabir. Anıtkabir is a very good-looking place and it has a special meaning. Ankara has a good city design, is modern and keeps getting modern. Like other cities in Turkey.
