Summary
The Glass Castle tells the story of the author, Jeanette Walls and her complex childhood. It moves through many diverse childhood memories Jeanette has in which she reveals truths about having an alcoholic father and mentally unstable mother. She has 2 sisters, Maureen and Lori as well as a brother, Brian. It overall depicts their story from childhood in western poverty to present day living in New York.
