Where The Crawdads Sing is a novel written in the perspective of the main character who goes by the name Kya.Throughout her childhood, she experienced many family challenged and grew up by herself basically in the marshes of North Carolina. She was considered an outsider of her town and worked for everything she received.With the death of Chase who was a previous love of hers, the town was turned upside down with the trial coming up.Kya was on trial for potentially being the murderer of the man. The mystery was ongoing throughout the whole book and constantly caused you to wonder what happened? Maya and I would recommend this book to nature lovers who love a challenging read. While reading, we found that some of the language was a little more than difficult just because of the time period that it was written in. This book also included several sensitive subjects and for that reason, we suggest that people of a more mature audience read this book so they could fully understand and take certain things into account.
