Many people dont really know what Area 51 is. Many people think the government is trying to keep secrets, like aliens! But it is used to test planes for spying on the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). <br/>

Thankfully we know all about Area 51 because of jeffery T. Richards. He works at a place called the National Security Archives. People tell him places and other sorts and he finds information about it.

The Cold War sounds pretty scary, but it wasn't an actually a "war" more like a test. Why? Because the USSR wanted to know USA's strength.

When new military planes set to the sky people reported the sights of Unidentified Flying Object (UFOs). A pilot in 1947 Reported nine objects flying in the shape of a V. And another person saw a reckage of rubber tinfoil and metal scraps!

Despite everything we know people still think Area 51 is hiding something. Like remember those aliens i brought up? Oh well, who knows?
