Dear world, What have I done? Destroyed trees on trees. Killed so many lives only to eat.  All life is dying because of US! We take what we want and don’t care. People help but it doesn't do much. Factory's hurt your air. But still we don’t care. All we care about is money, Not the planet. There's no planet B.

Go and open the door. Maybe you'll see Your future car, Your future house, Your future career. Go and open the door.  Maybe you'll see Your dream garden, Your dreams and goals achieved, Your dream bedroom. Go and open the door.  Maybe you'll see flashbacks of Your first word, Your first steps, Your first smile.

Go and open the door. Maybe you'll see flashbacks of Your first sentence, Your first friend, Your first hug . Go and open the door.  Maybe you'll see flashbacks of Your first prom dress, Your first love, Your first kiss. Go and open the door.  Maybe you'll see flashbacks of  Your first sunrise, Your first sunset, Your first shooting star.

But for now, Everything is faded. Faded in the shadows of your mind. But not forever. Only until you close your eyes once again..........

A is for an actor, Who turned the wrong street. B is for a bear, Who wanted a pay rise but it didn't go very well. C is for a cop, That ran into my trap. D is for a dinosaur, That happily went extinct (maybe because of me). E is for ears, That fell off after rotting. F is for a fire truck, That fell off my bridge. G is for a gorilla, Who was as big as the moon.  H is for a harbor, That is old and ancient.  I is for iron, Dipped in rich honey.  J is for juicy eyeballs, Freshly popped out.

K is for a kit-kat, That was professionally stolen off a child. L is for a lemon,  That will make you squint.  M is for macaroni cheese, That is cooked to perfection. N is for nuggets, Made with the finest, smelliest corpses. O is for out-of-date beef, Stored in our gooiest swamp.  P is for paintball gun, Stolen off a very annoying chicken. Q is for the queen, The poshest of all. R is for a rusty rainbow,  That's lost all its color . S is for a skull, That is nice and crunchy. T is for a taco, Made with ghost peppers.

U is for a unicorn, Found in a magical field. V is for a volcanic rock, Be careful it might be quite hot!!!  W is for a waistcoat, Sprinkled with the best spices.  X is for a xylophone, It sounds so delicious.  Y is for yogurt,  Served with caviar (fresh from the frogs). How dare you be so careless,  not looking after the earth – your own home. Chucking your rubbish into the fields wherever you go. How dare you be so careless, we are in the mass of extinction! All this beautiful earth we have is being destroyed! How dare you be so careless, just stop and think what you need to do. Stability is what we need! Please just care! Delete pollution! We have such an amazing world. All we need to do is understand how much our world is doing for us. We must love our world as much as it loves us. This is not acceptable! We love you Earth!!

We are out of balance! Thriving greenery, Petrol! Gas! We need stability! Crystal sands, Litter! Litter! There is no Planet B! The whole World... How Dare You!

Who am I? I am a red, hairy creature of the trees. I am as hungry as a vacuum and as smart as a calculator. I am a unique tree climber, swinging across the world. I am as strong as an earthquake, with arms as long as trees. I am a building master. I am an orangutan.

Breathless. Throat is sore. No energy. Legs don’t work. Words disappear. Arms floppy. Gasp for breath. Makes headaches. Still no breath. Stomach pains. Coughing every minute. Can't breathe. No sleep. Eyes red. Can't concentrate.  Still no breath. Can't eat properly. Throat is sore. Breathless, breathless. Help me. Can't breathe. Help me!

Breathless Breathless. They left me breathless. Breathless. Clutching throat, struggling for breath, Screaming for help. Waiting. Waiting.  No help. Everything dark... darker. Pitch black... Look up. Don’t know what way he's facing Was it left or right, up, down? Cold. Shivering.  Thinking, Is this the way I go out?

The Door

Go and open the door. Maybe there will be a  Flower field, Or a waterfall, Or a lush blue sea. Open the door. There could be a Dog dancing, Or a mango doing the tango. Maybe there will be a banana breakdancing! I know you want to. What if there's a  Flamingo playing bingo. What if there's a seahorse swimming, Or it might be a pomegranate prancing. Go and open it. It could be anything you imagine. Let your mind run free.

Just keep going. Don’t stop. Throat dry. Muscles aching. Panting. 1 step, 1 heartbeat. Don’t faint now, Nearly there. Too cold. Too much snow. High altitude. Blistery lips. Don’t waste energy. Water out, take a sip. Where do you go? North, East, South, West?

Don’t die now. Too cold. Too close to die. Don’t look down. Nearly there. Too close. Too cold. Too much snow. Don’t die now. Just do it. Cough, cough, cough. Pain. Aches. Push up. Nearly there.

Must keep going. Can't stop. Up, up, up. Away from the edge. Aching legs. Top no nearer. Hollow air. Dry lungs. Rasping breath. Take a drink.  No difference made. Must stop. Take a rest. Can't fall asleep. Push on. Breathless ...

A poem is not an apple, but it may be rotten to the core. A poem is not a bee, but it can be busy. A poem is not a crow, although it can be dark. A poem is not a dictionary, but has many words. A poem is not an egg, but it can be cracking. A poem is not a frog, but it can make you jump away. Ribbit! A poem is not a gate, but it can open to somewhere new. A poem is not a hoover, but it can still suck you in. A poem is not an ice-cream, so please don’t lick it! A poem is not juice, but it can go out of date. A poem is not a kangaroo, but it can be very bouncy. A poem is not a lasso, but it can catch you! A poem is not a melody, though it can have a catchy rhythm.

A poem is not a naughty boy, although it can be cheeky. A poem is not an orangutan, but it may have a swing to it. A poem is not a pigeon, but it can be old and grey. A poem is not a queen, but it can sound posh. A poem is not a red robin, however it could fly away. A poem is not surprising, but it can give you a shock. A poem is not a teacher, but it can be helpful. A poem is not a pair of underpants, so don’t try and wear it! A poem is not a vampire, but it may give you a fright! Bleh! Bleh! Bleh! Bleh! Bleh! A poem is not a whiteboard, but it can be clear. A poem is not a xylophone, but it can be learnt. A poem is not a yacht, but it can take you away. A poem is not a zingy lemon, yet writing one can be easy peasy lemon squeezy!

There could be a flock of birds having a sky fly, Or a supermarket with every thing to buy. You could buy a toy or food, Maybe something that would Put your parents in a mood. Go on open the door. It could be an old, oak door, Or millions of flowers covering the floor. Go on open the door. Maybe a trolley with your going cold tea. Imagine anything and that is what you will see! Go on just open the door.

MENU OF A SEAGULL S is a sausage, I found in the bin. E an egg sandwich, buried deep in the sand. A is an apple, half eaten that is. G is for GREGGS, a nice Cornish pasty. U for unused plastic, stuck in my throat. L is a lemon wedge, made my beak go numb. L is a liquorice, covered in stones. S is a salmon, nothing but bones!
